I am probably the most laid back person you have ever met. I really am an eternal optimist and I fully believe in just "rolling with the punches." Life is too short for anger and regret. The best first date is definitely one that involves the outdoors, which can be hard in the winter, so I would say going to a sporting event and drinking $8.00 beers and eating hot dogs would be the best idea.
