Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
things about me...1. I work full-time through the week2. I'm also a full-time student3. I have one child4. I am down to earth, sarcastic, funny, serious when needed, hard worker, and a positive person.5. Some things that I like to do are scrapbooking, yoga, watch horror movies, wine tasting, camping, fishing, and of course hanging out at a bonfire with great friends. :)What I am looking for is a man, not a boy, who is independent, good heart, loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor. Someone who does not judge others, and someone who has goals in life and works hard to achieve them. Someone who can make me smile and does not make me think twice about how he feels about me. He's got to be goofy and playful, but knows when to be serious. Depends on the person

Hi, I'm Krysten and I'm a caffeine-a-holic.I feel so much better now that this is out in the open.Apart from that, I'm complex, and also not at all complex. I very much love dogs and horses. Being an equestrian is a discipline that I practice every day, if not on horseback, then in the gym. It is the best therapy there ever could be. I'm a Sociologist/Anthropologist who practices cognitive psychology on the side and is in love with human/social services. Pop culture is kind of my "thing" as well, because of the importance on keeping up-to-date if ever needing to educate minors as it pertains to internet ethics. I likely have the dorkiest taste in music ever, and yellow makes me smile. I love to laugh, but let's please get something clear-....they are really not funny. They're obnoxious. Monty Python is funny. Monty Python is hilarious. I haven't done a stellar job of describing myself, have I? The truth is, I know who I am. I don't know who you are, so it is far less complicated for me to describe what I am looking for. Let's be clear about something straight away- I am in no hurry and will spend some time reading profiles and at least get a baseline idea of who you are before I decide to meet you. It is in my nature to see the best in people, and generally speaking, I like nearly everyone. Just because I like someone doesn't mean I will date them, and I am notorious for "friend-zoning" people who just aren't my type. I think that is the fair thing to do as opposed to wasting your time that you could be spending on somebody else. For us to date, these are some of the qualities I prefer:1) Please have a working knowledge of grammar/punctuation/diction. This may seem shallow, and I can overlook it if you're a good person, but man does it drive me batty.2) I'd be more partial to a man who has some sort of spiritual faith. It doesn't have to be parallel to mine. Just believe in something. 3) Be an intellectual and enjoy a mentally stimulating conversation, and even a good debate every once in a while. Prepare to be challenged by me, because I will challenge you. No, I will not degrade you in front of your friends or (gasp) your mother. 4) Be a happy medium between needy/clingy and completely aloof. Have a life of your own, but don't forget I exist. 5) Teach me something new. It exhilarates me.6) If you have had as many sexual partners as you have mitochondria, I'm really not interested. It may seem there's no way for me to determine this, but it's more obvious than you may think.7) There is a difference between confidence and arrogance. In my eyes, an ounce of pretention is worth a pound of manure.8) I honestly don't care where you sit on the political spectrum, but it's a hot-button issue these days for many. If you're an extremist on either side, just know that I am firmly placed in the center, and solid in my beliefs. 9) I'm not a gold digger, nor am I high maintenance. If you love money, power, and toys, just know those things will never love you back. That being said, please have a job. I'm not interested in how much money you make, but I'd sure be impressed if it was something you really enjoyed.***If you have a lot of baggage, a crazy ex, an intrusive baby mama, I am really not going to enjoy that. I just don't have the ambition to take on those issues. If you have kids- woohoo! I love kids!***As for dating, the truth is I really don't like it. It is stressful. I know who I am, and I like me. My friends like me, my family likes me, and I've got it pretty darn good. Introduce dating, and suddenly there's this new person- and they're judging you. I'd think we could all agree that kind of sucks.
