About Me

I like to live life to the fullest and go to bed every night feeling like I never left anything on the table. I am an avid scuba diver and love anything to do with travel and the ocean. When not hanging out with my amazing 8 year old I train in Taekwondo, kick-boxing and weight lifting. I love to be active, run regularly, ride my bike, hike, camp, golf and kayak. And I love to do all of this while laughing and having fun! I like to spending time around people who also are light hearted and can enjoy the moment. In relationships, I am very dedicated, dependable and loyal and appreciate people who have those characteristics but can also be spontaneous. One thing I know about myself is that I am very easy going and adaptable. I am a planner by nature but when traveling and in social situations I love to go with the flow and see what adventure might be around the corner. I have been lucky enough to see many parts of the world which just fuels me to want to see more. Yes, I have alot of interests but I do work as well!! I have a fantastic career that I am very passionate about. I work to live but have the fortune of loving what I do!! The fact that I am an entrepreneur affords me the ability to make my own hours and gives me the time to enjoy the things I'm passionate about. I'm focused on growing my business and affecting change in my industry.Things people would never guess about me...... 1. I am actually a dork at heart and love to make jokes 2. I am very clumsy and have been known to fall down a sheep hill or two3. Once I was offered a job as a cook in a fine dining restaurant by the executive chef after I cooked him dinner4.     Am I the only one who thinks there should be a "Would like to date, nothing serious yet, but get to know someone before thinking about a relationship" button? Simply put, I'm a tall girl looking to meet a nice, (preferably) tall guy. Well, not too too nice ;) I'm pretty laid back and am equally comfortable dressed up for a nice night on the town as I am throwing on my GoreTex in this crazy weather or chilling at home in my sweats. And as if my confidence, brains and striking good looks aren't enough (insert eye-rolling here), apparently I have a pretty kick ass sense of humour, and no filter (though I'm quite capable of applying one when the situation calls for it). As far as interests/hobbies go, I like to keep active (running, inline skating, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, skiing, hiking and citywalking, etc). I travel when I can. I love reading, music (all kinds), singing, dancing...the list goes on. Most important to me, however, are my family, friends, and of course, my awesome wiener (dog). But I shall stop here -- can't reveal everything at once, right??PS: If you can play Canasta, you've just earned your first brownie point! Good food, good company, lots of laughs....anything from grabbing a coffee and walking the beach or the city, to hiking, biking, blading or Jenga...now who doesn't love a good game of Jenga??
