Let's see ... turned 53 in ***, British- People who know me think I am pretty, smart, kind, wicked witty, (what Brit isn't?) affectionate, compassionate, responsible, and happily, a child at heart! "You must adore living here, it's so beautiful!" rather than to your also awed absent travel mate. So yes, this girl wants a boy to see more ancient sites, cities and architecture with. I am open and willing to share in your passions and hopefully create and explore new ones together. I have studied spirituality and theology and resonate with Buddhism mostly and raised Methodist. Love the ocean and any activities affiliated ... One intent is to rent a baby blue 50's classic convertible and drive Route 66 from coast to coast only staying in ***'s motels along the way to make it authentic. Enjoy horse riding, tennis and anything aviation, and I create large oil paintings when the spirit moves me, which rejuvenates my soul. Oh, and art gallery exhibits and music/art/wine festivals. Dancing salsa and western? ... can do. My most favourite adventure has to be a month's sailing 1st mate on Captain Sam's 52' teak-decked "Alluvian.".. medieval villages, sculptures, galleries, ethnic wine ... wine ... Being a counselor by trade, I'm a keen listener and communicator with lots of intelligent thoughts about the world around me, but I like two~way conversation and debate... fiscally stable and responsible with retirement by 60ish in the cards. You don't have to like everything I do, but you must want to travel and adventure with me at least once a year. I seek and envision a healthy and loving relationship ... rather like an affinity moving two people in unison, who share similar values, and live a shared serenity ... perfection desired, but not expected (poetic? I'm not always on the go, but I prefer outdoor activities to the gym. I don't mind being alone in the least, but I do want somone I can spoil, cuddle, hold hands, cook with, kiss alot, love on and give my attention to, and vise versa, of course.; as she is smart, funny, pretty, and not afraid to make fun of herself, or speak her mind. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but always willing to create different looks to please my man. I'm high-energy, yet relish my relaxation; outgoing, yet protective of my private time to recharge and meditate; eternally optimistic, but with a healthy understanding of the vicissitudes of life; classy, and sassy; sophisticated, yet still retain a child-like wonder; affectionate, while maintaining boundaries; witty, and intelligent. I have many areas of interest, from quantum physics, to macrobiotics, to neurobics. (My favorite crossword puzzle clue to date: "A unit of parsley"!!!) Answer???I love books, dark chocolate, sunsets, great music (current selections include Bocceli, Adele, Spanish guitar), food, wine, and conversation. I truly appreciate good jokes, new places and ideas...alternate approaches. Somewhat of a foodie, love to play in the kitchen, try new recipes and cuisines, and emphasize clean eating. I make it a goal to have seen all the films nominated for an Academy Award and have a deep appreciation for the arts. Having no children that I know of, I enjoy nurturing my friends and family, and growing things (herb garden, tomatoes, plants). I believe in karma, telepathy, and paying it forward. I've found that if you love life, life will love you back. I believe that there are two types of people in this world: those who are aware, and those who are not. I love relaxing time on the beach whether it's for a walk or a week! Spur of the moment weekend trips are so exciting! I enjoy movies, theater, wine tastings, coffee on the deck in the morning, fixing a nice meal at home or going out for a good meal. A nice dinner can be a mom & pop kind of place or very nice restaurant. I enjoy sports -- college basketball is my favorite, but I'm not a fanatic. Antiquing & I love sipping a glass of wine in front of a fire. I'd love to find someone who respects my honesty, integrity and loyalty and who will do the same for me. An ideal first date for me could be a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or maybe share a meal. We could do something more creative like the zoo or a museum.
