I walk before I run. Reduces the risk of tripping and falling on our way to a destination...I might not be the most beautiful or the sexiest, nor do I have the perfect body. I might not be first choice, but I am a great choice. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm just too good at being me. I might not be proud of some things I've done in the past, but I'm proud of who I am today. Take me as I am or watch me as I walk away....It seems I need to clarify my previouns paragraph based on comments I've received regarding it. I, in no way, have an issue with self-image - quite the opposite - I'm perfect the way I am; and so is everyone else. That is my point in what I've written above. I'm perfectly imperfect and I expect you are too. So based on that - we either connect or disconnect. No one is for everyone. Now that that's a little clearer. I hope... I spend a lot of time with my female friends, and realize that what I really miss is the one-on-one interaction and company of a man; conversations that bring a different dimension, perspective and understanding. I live my life without expectations, but with plenty of optimism. It all begins with dating and friendship, if there is meant to be more, it will be. Would like nothing more than to experience the 'spark', the 'butterflies' and the passion, yet am secure in knowing time is on my side and patience is a virtue.I am your 'regular girl' (ok, woman)... comfortable in my own skin and secure in my life. Interested in getting to know others who are similar; who like to enjoy life, are optimistic and would rather spend time on the move, than living day to day forming a mold in a couch cushion. You? It's time to be upfront... physical attraction is key. You're someone who takes pride in his appearance. That doesn't mean dressed to impress ***, but well groomed and can look great in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt as well as at that black tie event.-accepting attitude he possessed. So you're open-minded and accepting and are active enough that your belt isn't fastened 7 inches below your waist. You possess some old fashioned values but appreciate what the 21st century has to offer without fear or judgment. You are financially healthy (as am I) and emotionally and physically available to pursue a relationship. A mixture of masculinity and softness and, because I like to wear heels... hopefully taller than 5'9". ;) Negotiations limited, but possible.I feel the need to say that I am not at all looking for a casual relationship. After a 20 yr marriage, I spent some time reintroducing myself to myself and know clearly who I am and what I want/need and don't want/need in my life. I will not settle nor compromise myself and I hope to enhance my life with someone who is open, emotionally available and looking for the same. There are great people out there... I know, I've met quite a few. Dating can harden even the softest of people, but you cannot let it be defeating; there is far too much life to live and enjoy! Mutual respect, being upfront and open are key. I don't see the point in the first two and pay them no attention. If someone is genuinely interested, I assume they'll reach out Upfront and honest - I have tried to correct my age on this site, which it won't allow. I am one year older than what it says on here and very proud and confident about it!
