About Me

I am a successful salesperson with a career I love and would like to meet someone who enjoys what they do and has a positive outlook on life! It would be nice to meet someone who shares some of my interests, and can be friends first to take time to learn about each other and determine if you have that "spark" as well as some things in common. I enjoy travel, going to the beach or exploring new places. What a rush!!! I am a devout fan of The Walking Dead, but mostly I don't really watch TV except for the news! I appreciate going to the movies or staying in to watch a DVD (have a huge collection!) I am a true animal lover, and have a Rottweiler who doesn't know she's supposed to be scary...I like taking her for walks at the local parks in the evening and since she loves chasing squirrels, I'm pretty sure she likes that too!!! She thinks she's human and sometimes I do too! I like just about any type of music, but alternative is probably my preferred style. When it comes to what is unique about me, that's tough to say; I think that may be in "the eye of the beholder" and how you "connect" with someone.I like meeting people and learning new things and can find something I appreciate about every person's individual personality, but I'm mostly drawn to people who have a good sense of humor because what I love most is to laugh! first dates can be really nerve-wracking so I prefer to keep it casual and simple...one of my favorite first dates was to meet at the park to take a walk with my dog (he brought treats so she would like him!), and walking and talking was a nice, "no-pressure" way to get to know him. Also, the walk can be as long or as short as you like!!! I am open to anything, like coffee, lunch, drinks, but dinner is often a bit of a commitment if you don't take the time to get to know a person through *** conversation first. I guess I'm pretty flexible about it, but like to keep it casual.

    Ugh!! This is the worst part, but here goes! I am compassionate, witty, and passionate......I still believe that chivalry is NOT dead! I am a real "girly-girl", but also love my sneakers and comfy flannel PJ's! You can dress me up and take me out to the classiest places, but don't be surprised when you realize I love to joke around and be goofy and playful, too (NOT in the classy restaurant, of course!! ) I am divorced with an 8 year old son and value family highly.....I am blessed to still have my parents around. A relationship without appreciation and passion just doesn't feel right. I am a good listener, a loyal friend, and love to make people laugh! I have a quick wit and usually laugh when I'm nervous! Making people laugh has always served as my "safety valve" since I am actually quite shy. Truthfully, I am looking for a solid relationship, as well as a man of exceptional values who will nurture my son as well as our relationship. Sure....I love the beach, and dining out, and working out, as well as candlelight and a nice glass of wine! I feel the best when I dance, although I don't really dance anywhere other than my living room anymore!! I am a classically trained musician, (my bachelor degree is in music education) but absolutely love latin, R&B, soul, and classic disco. Not looking for 'games' or causal dating.
