Profile update:I am a laid back easy going guy who likes hiking, camping, music, photography and cooking who is educated, successful, financially secure and emotionally stable independent individual who doesn't follow the normal path.+ years. The rewards of my career have enabled me to enjoy some of the finer things life hast to offer.Time is moving on, new adventures are coming and I am looking for a partner to share the experience with. There are many places to go, things to see and enjoy Sharing the experience makes it more robust and gives us stories to share. My outlook on life is positive, I like to be around people who are similarly optimistic. I'm not talking about rose colored glasses but a realistic expectation of a positive outcome from whatever situation I find myself in. I believe that a successful relationship is based on mutual respect and trust. With those in place all the other bit and pieces of day to day life can be molded together. The qualities I bring to a relationship are honesty, compassion, trust and the ability to communicate, qualities I expect my partner to share. With trust comes honesty, lying and cheating are betrayals. It seems odd to feel the need to say it but there seems there tends to be some misrepresentation floating around. I don't have time for those kind of games. I enjoy going to the occasional football or baseball game but it is not an every weekend kind of thing. Going out for dinner, movie, concert are all good fun. Occasionally an evening at a comedy club can be a fun diversion. But staying home sometimes is good too. Relaxing next to the fireplace watching a movie, listening to music or reading a book are good ways to spend time too. There is always music in my house, I enjoy a wide range of genres with few limitations. An ideal partner would be interested exploring new music, art and adventure with a good sense of humor.     Me: I'm a little skeptical about the chances of meeting someone on the computer. Maybe I just don't completely understand it? Not really sure how you sum up a life of work, family, interests, travel, in this box; and I certainly don't get that part thats missing on the computer when you meet someone and have that interest, spark and attraction. I don't have anything funny to say here but, I'm told I have a good sense of humor. I'm active with many things and I relax at home. If you like to chat with and juggle a million guys and conversations on here to make yourself feel better, I'm probably not for you. I don't get the bathroom and duck face pics... maybe it's just me. You enjoy activity or relaxing, going out to eat or staying home. If you like drinking incessantly or hanging out at bars, probably not my type... party on. Should be secure with yourself and stable. Minimal to no drama. And "I don't reply to winks, smiles, or minimal messages"... is this an essay contest? Do people come up to you and rattle off a paragraph when they meet you at the grocery store? That's funny to me. I know I know... I'm not going to get any responses with that attitude blah blah blah. I doubt anything comes from this process anyways. :) I'm not sure what people do or say here since I probably don't have any "computer game" but, I'm secure and comfortable in my skin. I have a great life and few regrets. I'm thankful everyday. I would like to meet someone however, it's not a MUST for me... not going to force it. And if you have read this far, for you that take this so serious, you do realize this is a bit like Halo or Grand theft Auto for many guys??? It's a computer!
