I retired from the Navy in ***and still work for the government. I travel a lot, mostly work, but I try and make the most of it and have fun. Since I do travel often, I have no issues staying close to home with my kids and friends. I love to cook - all kinds. I'm not big into the bar scene anymore, but would rather spend time with friends - cook and have some fun (and a good scotch occasionally). I exercise on a consistent basis, but not to extremes (had enough of that in my former life). I have a good sense of humor (maybe a bit twisted at times) and rank kind of high on the smart ass chart. Don't get me wrong, I am a caring person, however I believe that there is humor to be found in most scenarios.I'm not looking for a serious relationship, but rather find someone nice to spend some time with. If your newly divorced, or high maintenance I'm not for you. I did received a hip replacement out at U of M...should be good to go when the snow flies this coming season.I'll be back in school this coming November full time.I'll hold door open even for strangers and let people cross in front of me in the street, it's fun to do and most importantly it shows respect, if I'm doing this for strangers I'll most certainly will knowhow to treat my lady, her family and friends. I won't settle for a fit that's not right, nor should you.Man with big heart seeking smart, cute...the June Allyson type of girl next door...I'm not God's gift to women nor have I ever thought that, just hope there is one girl out there and we would be a gift to each other. Bottom line she has to be a warm fuzzy because that's what I am.I've had a few hobbies, some have come and gone. But I enjoy making bird houses for our little feathered friends..they are always fun to watch and a source of cheap entertainment! I keep telling them only one couple per house. Lol If I can't fix-it, it hasn't been made...some others hobbies, restoring old cars, model trains, playing guitar. Ok, so I like wood working, I also enjoy being out doors in the warmer months if not on snow skis... Just think!, over 115,***people can fit inside that stadium...Reading is big for me...not trash, but Non-fiction, something that can be used in real life. One show I've waiting for is the ";. Lol Tv for me is going to be more on an educational nature, I'm not saying that I've never watched a sitcom...that's like a runner saying they have never drank pop before...I do enjoy movie like.....also Ground Hogs Day, The Parent Trap, The American President, Something's Gotts Give. hope you get the idea. Volleyball team. Played travel and college soccer...I can cook, and that doesn't mean wrenching open a can of soup either! My favorite are Mexican, Italian, chinese, and a great burger! Salmon is great when you've gone out and caught it yourself...Hmmm...Music, some Big Band, 50's Rock &; the MG's take me back to the drag race in American Graffitti...Skiing out west has always been the lots of fun...less time on the chair lift and more on the ski runs. Have taught a few to ski and that's is truely fun! I did patrol for a few years. By the way don't ski without a helmet...snow isn't normally red in color. Being smart and educated can be two different things:)Looking for that girl that has a little kid still inside them, because it's fun when you don't have to be an adult...I can sing and play little guitar.A big animal lover, would some day like to own a Shire.Looking for that last first date.Oh, yes.
