Hey! Love to find that laugh in everyday life. No matter how bad things are going. My bad day is someone's good day! I enjoy playing tennis, reading a good book especially on the beach. I enjoy scuba diving! I want to skydive soon! On my bucket list! I live in a condo in Jax Fla. too. Love to travel. The best education ever! I love music. Every kind. From Maroon 5 to Sinatra to Billy Joel. Also B52's. Such fun! I have a dog I inherited. She is a maltipoo. And is no trouble. I have one son who is an attorney in the state of S.C. then I have a 17 yr old daughter who plays fast pitched ball for a traveling team and I try to be at as many games as possible. Her school is in Ga. Then I have a 15 yr old daughter that loves the social life. I'm low maintenance and avoid confrontation. I have spent the last many years taking care of others. I did it with 100% commitment. Been on my own for awhile and have taken time to make changes in my life. Now its my time to live my life for me and that one special person. I love with my whole heart. And when I do I commit fully! No games. First date: I would love to really get to know someone over dinner drinks or something similar stress free. Open up.

....I am highly positive, energetic and into the arts. I wake up smiling and talking and I am telling this in my first line because the last two men I have had relationships didn't want me to "talk" to them until after they had been awake for an hour or so...not for me.I am highly organized, intelligent, great cook and into physical fitness. I love all kinds of music with the exclusion of some "old" country, rap and heavy metal.I am over 40 yet still feel in my 30s..am seeking a mate that is not a couch potato.Personal hygene is very important to me and should be within my partner also.I am as comfortable in jeans and a T shirt as I am in an evening gown and heels.Sorry that I don't have more full body shot photos... Head shots were taken October ***..full body December ***.I have raised two beautiful daughters single handily and chose to not date for ten years while I did so...now not to be selfish....but...now it's ME time!I am looking for a "best friend" in my man...not just a lover.I desire a man who appreciates me as much as I do him. Sorry I am not a football fanatic...so if you are looking for someone to hang out at the sports bar...keep looking!First impressions are pretty vital...wouldn't you say? I am a very passionate woman with my man...but for real...before I even meet someone face to face I find it unimpressive to say the least should that person send me sexual innuendos or almost naked pictures of themselves...so please don't waste your effort, that is why they invented ***numbers for, so you can talk dirt with someone you haven't even met. Well for these Men...I got your number86....lol...if your my man I'm both a "sailor and a lady" appropriately does not mean no PDA!...Have a Great time Dating ....All! I think the first "date" or meeting should be at a place such as Starbucks, so if the connection isnt there, it won't be a long drawn out date. If the connection is there it could go on to dinner or whatever, whenever.

You know the smart, kind of shy girl staring out the classroom window in high school, the one no-one noticed until she got the lead in the school musical? That was me then, and in many ways, it's still me now. For years, I've been learning how to shine onstage, and then retreating to the comfort of some hot chocolate, a good book, and maybe a snuggle.I have three boys in their teens; they are a big part of my life, and we still enjoy activities together, such as laughing together at YouTube videos, Scouting, making music (or just listening to it), or spending time poking tide pools at the beach. Love me, love my kids (or at least be willing to get used to them!) Professionally, I'm half-way through a master's degree at Royal Roads, looking for some work that will put the future MA to good use, and exploring ways to make the world a better place. I don't expect you to share exactly what I believe spiritually, but it would be great to know that you consider meditation and having a faith community a good trait. I'm not evangelical - my leanings are liberal/progressive/universalist. My faith gives me the energy and idealism to believe that the world can be saved.- sometimes running the same routes if I am into running (the urge comes and goes, lol). I want to do more lightweight camping and getting into the mountains. I'm car-less, and walk or ride my commuter-type bike most places.I also really enjoy the following "in-town" activities - And you? I often fall for the smart, shy guys, but you don't have to be a PhD. You've got an idea of what you are really good at, and it shows in the pride you take in your work -- or hobby . And you're generous in spirit - you're the guy who shovels the driveway of the old people next door. You love to be with your kids, if you have them. You are organized, but not anal about it :-). Bonus points if you can play an *** everything works out, you'll find I'm very affectionate/sensual, communicative, and into spending time together being romantic. We both know that the first date isn't a date. It's to make sure that neither of us is advertising falsely, or harbouring psycho beliefs ;-). The first "real"-- or maybe a movie, with Siskel and Ebert-like discussion afterward over a beer or a single malt. Or renting kayaks and paddling around the Gorge.
