Fun, outgoing, love dogs, the outdoors and hanging with family and friends especially my son. I am pretty simple girl. I have a good career, great family and friends, love hanging with my 10yr. old and our dog. She is a big part of our family. If you don't like dogs or kids we probably won't work! I don't have a particular type of guy I like, but I would prefer a guy that takes care of himself but isn't self absorbed or a player. I would like a nice, intelligent, fun guy who knows how to treat a lady and not be too over bearing or plays childish games. I think at this day and age we rely too much on text messages and rarely call on the phone anymore. It gets old. I prefer to not have a text relationship or always be on the phone when we are around each other. I enjoy all types of things and am always up for trying new things and new food and new beer and wine! Lol! I am not shy....I am very outgoing and I have a lot of energy and love to do anything fun whether its hanging at a friends house Barbecuing or going to movies, waterpark, go-karts, watching football, the beach or floating the river or a concert. Will update again later I think a first date should be easy going.....like having a few drinks at a dive bar and then maybe dinner. Nothing fancy!

I think it embodies an appreciation for musicianship, laughter, and never taking yourself too seriously. I am currently in a place where I am stable in my career to the point where I am having fun adding to and crossing off items on my bucket list.K. and left it and came back in 36 hours.(seemed reasonable at the time!). (i studied Japanese in school and it served me well for making taxi drivers laugh and ordering food n' drink in Okinawa, but it has been less of an asset since then). I want to attend the Sapporo Snow Festival, meet the Dalai Lama, see a wild elephant, eat Indian food..S.) I think about these things more than i've had a chance to actually do them. When I am back home making the donuts each day...I try my hand at gardening (I'm a veritable basil and tomato farmer if you like caprese salads). I am also working on making the empty space inside comfortable (with advice from my more talented and organized friends). I am the only woman in the Navy who has done what i do..so yes I am proud of my career. I work hard and I have worked long hours to get where I am, but I am ready to have a reason to leave work more often. I'm cool with dogs as I really want to adopt one but I worry about leaving them alone and the effect on impromptu travel. I'm middle of the road about most things but passionate about opportunity for education and access to basic health care and I know when to avoid discussions about both. Yes, I am looking for someone to grow old and sit on the front porch rocking chairs with and regale the younger generations with stories of our hijinks, but first....let's just meet and WORST case scenario, it will make for funny dating disaster stories to talk about in our respective memoirs. Low Key...let's just meet up and see if we have chemistry. Something planned to get over the awkwardness but with the option to be spontaneous. Truth in lending...I take call 50% of the time and most of that call is just carrying a pager and being within 30minutes of work with pages as infrequent after hours as once or twice a month. I'm telling you this now because when I do get called, I have to rush to work for a few hours. I will make sure that I am not on call for a first date! Let's have fun!
