Friends tell me I'm funny, caring, smart, strong, compassionate and dependable. I am self employed, have been for over 9 years - I love the freedom of it. But I think there is nothing better than to curl up on the couch with that special someone just cuddle and watch a movie. I am a home body- I love that people tell me my home is a comfortable place to be- inviting. I like to think it reflects who I am (in need of a little work, but homey and warm).What am I looking for? I am a conversationalist - I need someone looking for the same- with a sense of humor (points if you have a snarky or twisted sense of humor). Someone with an artistic sensibility. I am an odd mix of socially liberal and fiscally conservative with a generous helping of Libertarianism thrown in for good measure. I've been told that have one of those personalities that can get along with anyone. It is mainly because I listen and care about what you're saying. My life has been enhanced by working with children and young adults, who keep me young and remind me to appreciate life and live it to the fullest. It is important for me to stay active. Simple things like a game of catch or Frisbee or even washing cars together are fun. My bike riding is getting better. I'm not a fan of camping, but will do it once in awhile if a canoe trip is involved. That doesn't mean I don't like the outdoors. Campfires are the bomb!!! Dinner and movies are fine! I'm into gardening and interior decorating and I'm not afraid of hard work. It's fun trying new things and I really like school. I am very much into the KC music scene and can show you lots. I am spiritual person of strong faith but not so much about religion. If I had the ideal relationship it would be someone who works hard, owns their own home and likes it that way!
