I have been divorced for 5 years after having been married for 20 years. I've dated and had one long-term relationship during that time. Not interested in one night stands nor young men. I seem to go for the "; type, but that does NOT mean that I won't stand my ground!! I can be quite outspoken and have a sarcastic sense of humor so you will have get that and not be too sensitive in that area...and I can take it right back!!I love traveling, dining out, movies, doing new and adventurous things, a glass or two of wine, being with friends, playing games (cards, etc.), attending sporting events, spending time with my children (2 boys, 18 and 20), taking a nap on Sunday on the sofa while you watch sports and so many other things that you'll find out as you get to know me. I love wine and cheese and chocolate-covered strawberries...sounds like the makings for a nice picnic! I love nice restaurants but also enjoy the hole-in-the-wall, undiscovered type of places. I can also cook and bake a few things...much more fun with an assistant! That's still way off but still an exciting dream....I'm ***some photos are recent, some are to show my personality) but feel like I'm 30! Heck, I even feel like a teenager again at times! I DO look like my photos ...you can't see the "few extra pounds"...there's a reason that I strategically did not post a photo of myself in a bikini!!! But I'm still an attractive person, both inside and out and that's exactly what I'm looking for as well. I'm interested in trying new things, love many types of music from classical to classic rock.     I am who I am.I'm a jeans and tshirt kinda woman but do enjoy the occasion to dress up and be a girly girl. I can go from from using a chainsaw in the morning to baking a pie in the afternoon. I don't need a knight in shining armor though it would be nice to know I had one on speed dial if needed. Hard to pinpoint interests as I have so many that I enjoy and so many yet to experience. In the right company I believe that even non interests are tolerable and perhaps even enjoyable. Not into the bar scene but don't mind going to one for the occasional drink or for the enjoyment of live entertainment. Spending an evening out is great but so is staying in with the fireplace going, a movie and great company. I enjoy a ride and have my own helmet but I don't live to ride. I live to live. I'm an animal person both personally and professionally.I'm female and do enjoy the occasional pampering. A simple but relaxing manicure and pedicure is always a nice treat. It's all about the hand and foot massage. :-)I hide out during the cold weather but would rather be outside sweating my butt off when the weather is warm. I don't make my schedule around game times.     Okie dokie...to be successful it says to ***talk about my hobbies...animals, decorating, art, vintage, repurposing stuff, walking, reading ***talk about my goals..I'd be happy to live till I retire and then some.... ***talk about yourself and what makes you unique..hmmm..If we are ALL unique, then none of us are really unique, right? I guess I'm very young spirited but mature...LOVE animals & try to help them (feed strays, rescue, etc...) Since helping an animal gets you nothing physical or monetary in return, I do think it is a good characteristic in a human being. ***Music...I'm flexible. I listen to K-LOVE normally, but I like pop, and even some hard rock (KISS) ALSO..here is another thing about me..I am really "upfront". I've learned in my old age (and yea, I know I'm old) that sometimes you have to look in the mirror and say "I'M GREEDY, I'M OLD, I'M FOOLISH, I'M FAT"..or WHATEVER the issue may be...and literally become disgusted with yourself..and either ACCEPT it or CHANGE it. But don't live in DENIAL about it...I see too many men in my age group posing with no shirts (WHY???) with beer guts hanging out stating they have an "athletic" build. In what universe?? In this area, I'd say 1% of men over the age of 35 actually have an "athletic" build (which means your waist is at least 10" smaller than your chest and you are muscular and toned) No one is perfect..I don't expect it or want it and its too hard to maintain..but I do think we should try to take care of ourselves and there has to be mutual physical attraction. It is SUCH a double standard that women need to look like "Barbie" but men can look like crap and we just have to suck it up and deal with it. NOTE: Also, if you live further than an hour (approx) away from me, UNLESS you plan on doing all the driving, I doubt it's going to work out. It's just too difficult to date someone who can't really "be there" for you for the little things...good luck to everyone. After a first meeting (which should be brief and in public) I think the "date" should be something agreed on by both parties. If you don't have a pic, I won't respond. Good luck.
