About Me

Hello,I am interested in dating and, hopefully, someday finding the right person to be in a relationship with and perhaps marry. I am pretty outgoing, but can be a home body too. I have kids I love and a good support network of friends. Ideally, and I know nothing is perfect, the man for me would be: an active initiator of activities for us, a Christian, hold moderate to conservative political beliefs, enjoy and support my children and my parenting, maintain his circle of friends for his "guy time", respect my need for family and friend time (girls' night out, dancing, etc), teach me his hobbies and interests so that I can learn and understand how to support him in those hobbies or even enjoy doing them with him, trustworthy, reliable, and concerned for me and our relationship as a priority in life.Although I have listed what I like in a man, I would expect to support him in the same ways, receive similar support in return, and give him the love and respect he needs and deserves.I do enjoy swing dancing and would love to take more lessons with a willing learner. I also absolutely LOVE to travel and have done so on my own at times, but it's much more fun to travel with another person or in a group. I became Scuba certified in February, ***and would welcome the opportunity to explore that activity much more! Listening to live music (and dancing, if there is a partner available, as I don't freestyle dance) is always enjoyable to me, no matter the genre. I would like to hire a maid to clean, I do not like to cook although I can be skilled at it, and I do like doing laundry. I do not know why, but I do laundry with joy, maybe because it can be done and looked at as a job completed. My love language is touch. I love to read and am finally able to do so for pleasure, now that my MBA is completed. Are you energetic, have ideas for vacations and activities, can handle all the details of your life/kids/work and still put energy into a relationship? If so, please send me a note, don't just 'favorite' me, although that is always complimentary. :)

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

I am a fun, open-minded, honest, loyal and caring woman who has a pretty good life. I am creative, love to cook, love to laugh, love sports, the arts and enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I'm kind of like Teflon...I don't sweat the small stuff (or the big stuff for that matter). Although, I'll admit that I'm a bit of a neat freak. I have worked hard to get where I am, and would love to hang out with someone who gets that. Low key. Wine or coffee.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56

Okie dokie...to be successful it says to ***talk about my hobbies...animals, decorating, art, vintage, repurposing stuff, walking, reading ***talk about my goals..I'd be happy to live till I retire and then some.... ***talk about yourself and what makes you unique..hmmm..If we are ALL unique, then none of us are really unique, right? I guess I'm very young spirited but mature...LOVE animals & try to help them (feed strays, rescue, etc...) Since helping an animal gets you nothing physical or monetary in return, I do think it is a good characteristic in a human being. ***Music...I'm flexible. I listen to K-LOVE normally, but I like pop, and even some hard rock (KISS) ALSO..here is another thing about me..I am really "upfront". I've learned in my old age (and yea, I know I'm old) that sometimes you have to look in the mirror and say "I'M GREEDY, I'M OLD, I'M FOOLISH, I'M FAT"..or WHATEVER the issue may be...and literally become disgusted with yourself..and either ACCEPT it or CHANGE it. But don't live in DENIAL about it...I see too many men in my age group posing with no shirts (WHY???) with beer guts hanging out stating they have an "athletic" build. In what universe?? In this area, I'd say 1% of men over the age of 35 actually have an "athletic" build (which means your waist is at least 10" smaller than your chest and you are muscular and toned) No one is perfect..I don't expect it or want it and its too hard to maintain..but I do think we should try to take care of ourselves and there has to be mutual physical attraction. It is SUCH a double standard that women need to look like "Barbie" but men can look like crap and we just have to suck it up and deal with it. NOTE: Also, if you live further than an hour (approx) away from me, UNLESS you plan on doing all the driving, I doubt it's going to work out. It's just too difficult to date someone who can't really "be there" for you for the little things...good luck to everyone. After a first meeting (which should be brief and in public) I think the "date" should be something agreed on by both parties. If you don't have a pic, I won't respond. Good luck. Also, I may not get on here except for once a week or so; therefore, if you want me to get in touch w/you please leave another way (i.e. texting?)

I know that my soul mate is out there somewhere and I would really like to find him. I will always have your back and hope that you would have mine as well. I have a passion for life and make the best of every day. A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are. Each unveils the best part of the other....When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."
