I was born in St. but grew up in NY. This defines me in a lot of ways, being raised with totally different values, goals and drive. I love politics and can discuss and argue for hours on the issues that interest me. And I am interested in everything! I love theater, cinema, ballet, opera. I am very well read in both languages and always have at least 2 books on my nightstand, one in each language. I am a designer, but really an artist at heart. Love museums, new shows, won't pass by the gallery, and like going to Gallery Openings. Passionate about music, can't live without it. I am always listening to something, love new anything that is coming out. Going to concerts in small clubs, discovering new musicians is my favorite things to do. I have one daughter who is the apple of my eye. She is all grown now, but for me she will always be the little girl holding on to my hand on her way to school. I am very close to my family and talk to them every day. I love to cook big meals for friends and family during holidays. My friends think I am too idealistic, but I call it believing that most people are good with the exception of some bad apples. Looking for a partner in crime.     Ive started seeing somrone.Don't you love talking about yourself? Well I'm an open book! If I don't touch on what you want to know, just ask! Two of my boys are now married and moved out, my youngest is 19 and moving out soon. I've never had the house all to myself. I'm now at a point in my life that I can do the things that I've always wanted to do. I would love to find a companion to keep me company. I'm NOT saying I want a committed relationship as soon as we meet but if it happens on down the road that will be awesome.I know what I want, Where I'm going and where I hope to be in 10 years. I have alot of goals and ambitions. I also have a long bucket list that I want to fulfill. I want to find that man that will help me obtain my goals and not hold me back from them. Hobbies are a long list. I really enjoy going to the movies, theme parks (love a roller coaster), beach, cooking out rather it's at home, beach or camping, nature walks, parks and almost anything that doesn't hurt me..lol There are lots of things that I want to do that I haven't.I have started working out in the gym and found that I'm becoming quickly addicted. I'll never be skinny, but in shape....YES. Got a ways to go but nothing like being a work in progress. I want to do a 5k by this time next year...that is on my bucket list! I really enjoy traveling, going to new places, discovering that cozy little dinner in the middle of nowhere or in a hole in the wall that no ones knows about, cruises are a passion of mine. I just came back from a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and had a really enlightening experience. I'm much more appreciative of the life that I live here in the states. Can't wait for that trip. Plan to ride down the Amazon River and have clinic along the river (I believe there are 9 outpost that we will visit). Nothing like giving of yourself to help those that are less fortunate and live in desperate times.I am a nurse, working in a hospital. I'm not rich and don't want to be your sugar mama or your mama of any type. What I'm looking for in a man is simple...honesty and caring. I want someone that wants me unconditionally even with all my faults. I'm not perfect, but i'm a good person. I want a man that wants to be with me and spend time with me. I don't want to smother or be smothered. However, I love to receive that text or call for no reason...just to say Hi and I'm thinking of you. I want to lay on the couch and hold hands while we watch a movie. .it's the simple things in life that are the most amazing at times. I also like the food network and shows like Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef. Oh and once in a while I will watch Lizard Lick Towing, Storage Wars and Pawn Stars. ;) I love to read. Most of the time Mysteries, dramas, or comedies. Since losing my daughter I have had a hard time concentrating on reading. It is getting better. As you can tell, I am a pretty ordinary person. Make me laugh and I am even more interested. I am not looking for Mr. Universe just Mr. someone for me. My ideal first date.... Hmmm.. meeting for drinks and dinner. Spending time talking and just getting to know each other. Listening to a band play and seeing how much we have in common. Ending the night with a sweet kiss and the possibility of another date.
