I could probably write a book about what I feel or think about what it takes to make a good relationship. Here are some of my thoughts on it...If you want to know more ask...1. Respect me, and others.2. We are all human, screw ups happen, learn to forgive and forget.3. Talk to me, I am not unreasonable. I am not going to have a melt down over hearing news I don't like. 4. Have a sense of humor, life is too short to be ultra serious. Know how to laugh at yourself, it makes life easier.5. Being truly open and vulnerable is the only way to feel true feelings for someone. Give it an honest shot, no oneever died of a broken heart.6. When you don't know me, you don't have the right to intimate details. That is a privilege; one that isn't givento just anyone.7. If you are newly separated or divorced, give yourself ample time to get over it. Dragging someone elseinto your life when you don't know what you want is really unfair. No one deserves to be the rebound.8. Be truly romantic. Women love it, even if we are supposed to be fiercely independent.9. Don't be intimidated by a woman that is smart and knows what she wants. She chose to go out withyou, thank your lucky stars.10. We all have insecurities. Sometimes people will push that hot button that makes it come to the surface. It is no big deal, have a conversation about it, and move past it.11. Know your worth and demand that others treat you with dignity.12. Own your mistakes and stop playing the blame game, we are adults and all in control of our emotions.13. Always expect the best, if someone gives you their worst quickly move on.14. Women in general are not crazy (most of us) what makes some of us angry is being lied to and made a fool of.15. Don't lie about yourself, your baggage, or things in your past. They all eventually come out. Once trust is damaged it is difficult to recover.16. Be a good listener and truly interested in what your partner has to say.17. Get to know someone well before engaging in an intimate relationship.18. Not sure if soul mates exist, but a partner should be a best friend, lover, and confidant. 19. Love truly and without condition.20. When you say sorry, look the other person in the eyes and truly mean it. Surprise me, show some imagination....
