I'm using my original profile, as I'm newly back to this site and have updated much. I've had my first experience hearing grizzly bears roaring from the deceptively "safe feeling" other side of a very small creek and adrenaline pumping, I took some amazing photos. It is desolate here, in a beautiful glacier-carved wind sculpted way, with the wind so cold it makes your teeth ache, like drinking sweet icy spring water. The glacier is glowing as though lit from within by this liquid blue light and continues to mutely shine after the sun sinks. Helicopters are constantly landing and leaving, sometimes bringing me, and it feels like random heart beats taking up temporary residence in my chest. Everywhere there are piles of gravel from past glaciers, past times. I feel as though I've stepped out of now into another era and the thwup thwup of the ***disturbs my peace.First outdoor solitary camping of the year. Nice fire, wrapped up in my sleeping bag and a tarp, all good, then at 3am wolves howling all around. Seems to be a theme! A little unnerved this I chased a wolf out of the yard in my slippers this morning!I am a seeker of many things... I desire to understand metaphysics, my own spirituality, nature, the purpose of (my) life and the greater meaning of our existence...On a more earthly level, I would like to find a piece of land where I can build my dream home, or a simple cabin (which might be my dream home?), dig in the earth, and let my dog run free. I would like someone to share it with. I also have itchy feet and need to periodically just pack up spontaneously and go somewhere. It may be overseas, or it may be just a local camping trip, both are rewarding.I grew up in an isolated northern community and have a lot of experience with organic gardening, farming, homesteading and hands-on fix-it-ing. I hate to admit it, but I am a little bit of a reality show addict (only a couple of them, though!). My music tastes are varied and I enjoy pretty much anything. I have been in a pool league for 7 years, so I would love to go out and shoot some pool. I used to play tennis a lot, so would love to go out and have a game of tennis as well. I have travelled a lot in my life and would love to do more of it. I am recently finding out that I can repair almost anything, assemble almost anything and work on projects that I didn't think I was capable of doing around my house. So, watch out guys, I hope you are prepared for a Ms. Fix-It.I have been off of meetville for a little while now, and decided to give it another try. I would love to meet someone who is serious about finding a relationship, and not just into chatting online forever. A man who isn't afraid to make the first move on here and write to me, so we can see what happens from there. Who knows what the future holds. Hopefully something wonderful! I believe the first date with someone should be something that we mutually decide upon, and something very casual, as neither one of us would want to spend a great length of time with the other, in case things were not working out. We need to feel that chemistry right from the start and if it is not there, then why waste either of our time. It would be nice to be with someone who actually has something to say as well, as it is very uncomfortable just sitting there and I seem to be the only one who is talking.
