I enjoy going to movies, museums, concerts, sporting events, and outdoor outings. I like an evening out or even a quiet evening at home. I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling.I have a nerdy side. I enjoy comicons, Star Wars, Justice League, Lord of the Rings trilogy, comic book art, and 80s movies. I like motorcycles, fishing, zoos, boating, firearms, MMA, Brazilian Juijitsu..... I love to have fun.I have twin daughters who are 12. They are my life. I'm raising them on my own. Their father has no involvement in their lives which means no 'baby daddy drama'. I'm a sweatshirt, jeans, and tennis shoes kind of girl but I will put on my cowboy boots or dress up fancy for the right guy. Something simple, no pressure, relaxed, and informal.

Hi, thanks for checking out my profile.I was off here for a while and learned some things during that time. I still love my life and I'm still a happy person (that will never change). However, the new things that I've learned: I REALLY just want to date right now. I'm not interested in too 'heavy' of a relationship. I'm also not interested in dating men that have younger children. I know it might sound harsh but I'm being realistic. My kids are older and prepping to launch. I'm looking forward to an era of limited responsibility, lol. If you're the kind of person that needs to flaunt half nude pics I wont be interested as low self respect/esteem is a huge turnoff. I like to stay busy (day trips, gardening, personal hobbies, projects on my home) and I don't watch T.V. very often. If you are into things like Reality T.V. or NASCAR etc. we probably wont have much in common. The Wings have to be in the playoffs for me to watch sports on T.V. but I do love watching almost anything live (I don't know what that's about either). My spiritual journey is important to me. I don't claim a religion. Where you're at in yours is not for me to judge either. I just think that there's more to discover in our lives than the what lies within the confines of religious doctrine. If you are unwilling to be open to that type of discussion from time to time please skip me as I like to explore it.**I'm not interested in meeting people who are more than a half hour from me but there doesn't seem to be a way to note that here.**I'm quickly loosing interest in debating politics and religion.**PLEAS READ THIS: If you are married, living with someone, committed etc… please skip me. There is nothing that I will (or would want to) do for you. Dinner, live music (maybe Jazz or R&B?). No movies please : )

I'm a mom first. I have 5 kids (2 are on their own now, 3 still at home). I love being involved in family activities (camping, picnics, get togethers). I enjoy scouting activities, volunteering, Zumba fitness, travel, & scrapbooking. My favorite shows are True Blood, Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Weeds, & Vampire Diaries. I don't read much; but, I am enjoying "Shades of Grey!" I was a stay at home mom during my previous marriage. I've been an IT contractor for a financial services IT company for a little over 2.5 years. I'm looking for a guy that knows how to love a woman & doesn't play games! No married guys! Ideally, I'd like someone well-educated, socially adept, non-athiest, lover of children ( soccer-dad or scout leader type), and loves to do a variety of activities (I love outdoor activities). My kids are an important part of my life; but, I'd still expect to share plenty of alone time together on a regular basis. Chances are you won't meet my kids for several months. I am always growing into a better person; so, I want you to be also. Therefore, I know you probably won't match my description exactly; but, 80% would do. Give me a try. I'm a bit shy at first; but, once I feel comfortable ... Well, you've heard to watch out for the quiet ones, right?Addendum: If you either don't know yourself well enough to write a decent profile or don't really want to take the time to provide a little info on yourself, then you should just skip over me. I want someone who is seriously looking for a relationship. Thanks. A great first date would be one that we can break the ice quickly. No stuffy fancy restaurant! I'd want to be comfortable &... No just kidding. Really, I'm thinking something like a good pizza place & something active afterwards like lasertag or putt-putt. But, the classic dinner & a movie is fine. We just don't really get to know each other during a movie which seems pretty silly to me for a first date. I'm all for equal rights; but, I'm old fashioned when it comes to dates- chivalry is definitly welcomed and appreciated! But, be yourself first.
