About Me

After a 17 yr marriage, it's time to rediscover myself. I have two amazing teenagers who keep me busy. But now, it's time to squeeze in some fun for myself, in between my busy lifestyle with my kids. One thing I don't tolerate: LYING.....hence, my impending divorce (which is taking longer than I ever thought possible). I've been separated for nearly 10 months (although I've been emotionally separated for many years) and am ready to move on with my life. What am I interested in? Maybe I should first list what I'm not interested in: old men with beer guts, biker dudes, farmers and cowboys, heavily tattooed men with ear gauges, fat men, men with long-hair, ZZ Top beards, men with gold teeth, nerds. IF ANY OF THESE DESCRIBE YOU, I WILL NOT REPLY TO YOUR MESSAGES. I have high standards, although not looking for perfection....just the perfect man for me. Things I like to do: I love to sing, go dancing, and love sporting events, except for NASCAR (which isn't a sport). I love running or playing anything competitive.! I'm a determined ball of fire and can compete with the best! What I want: I want a relationship with someone who is mature, respectful, full of conversation, even-tempered, accepting of my kids (ages 12 & 15), stable, passionate and attractive to me. No relationship should ever be exhausting. BTW, I'm learning that when men state they are "wanting a relationship," most of the time, that means a sexual relationship only. And I'm not interested in that alone. In addition, I am NOT looking for just a hot sexting/phone sex relationship. I deserve a real dating relationship that could potentially grow into something more. Anything less than that is not acceptable. Favorite music: R&B, pop music, smooth jazz, blues, contemporary Christian music. Turn-offs: Stupidity; excessively tattooed bodies; excessive facial hair; smokers; improper English (it's "you were", not "you was"); quiet men; hot tempers; lying; extremely hairy bodies; outdoorsmen; out-of-shape men; cowboys. In addition, if you don't know how to spell your profession, you're probably not going to be a good match. It's supervisor, not superviser. Also, note in a previous sentence how I used your and you're properly. ;-)Postscript: Messaging me for the first time "Mmmmm..." does not make a good first impression. And neither does the generic introduction, "Hi, how are you today?" Nor does the question, "Had any luck on here?" Be creative and make me smile! Please give me a reason to leave this site behind! Surprise me!

    Where to begin! Let's just get that out in the open right now. Love sports, Love my WI football and Love being able to hold my own when it comes to talking sports! I trust, love unconditionally, appreciate the little flaws and enjoy the differences & expect the same in return =) Love is about NEVER trying to change each other, but realizing that all of the little accentricities are what makes the person the one you fell in love with in the first place, right?? I want that 'forever' love. The one others are jealous of. The one that takes a little effort, by keeping things fresh and new, but lasts a lifetime and only gets better. I know it's out there... and I will wait. Forever if I have to ;-) My ideal date isn't something that can be put into words, or even pre-planned. It depends on the individual I am with and what they enjoy. I really believe that you can have fun anywhere, at anytime, as long as you are in good company ;) It's not about WHAT, but WHO :)

    Affectionate one looking for just the right man to wrap his arms around me :DI'm a lady with a soft heart, a bit of a romantic and a little on the fiesty side. I like to stay active and work out on a weekly basis. Finding a man that likes to stay fit and may want want to work out with me would be a plus. We can motivate each other to get healthier together. I can go from workout clothes to heals and a dress and be comfortable in both. We will probably not agree on everything in life and that is where comprimise comes in. Compromise is a good thing! Life isn't always easy but it is easier when you have someone in your corner. I have a child, who means the world to me but it doesn't mean that I don't have room for you and children of your own. I love to spend time with my man but it's okay if he has interests of his own and wants a moment to himself. It gives me some playtime of my own (get your mind out of the gutter). I'm talking about a good book, a bubble bath , or even a shopping trip with the girls.I try to respond to most messages, but if I do not respond in a day or two its just that I am not interested. It has no reflection on you its just that I know we would not be a good match. After all, we are all attracted to different types...so with that said, good luck to everyone on finding your match. No expectations. A quick lunch or coffee ( I like the fully loaded and packed with sugar ones) and good conversation. If the weather ever warms up we could do a picnic or a walk in the park. If we click we can always continue the date and start planning the next one. :)
