-- wandering around town, hanging out on the deck, staying up late staring up at the stars and talking about everything, waking up early and playing with their little girls and cracking ourselves up. Reminded me that connection can be so easy and natural when you just get each other. (Also a complete mystery, just to keep things interesting.) I've lived in a few great west coast cities and I'm happy to be in LA now. When I'm not working I love being outside, hiking or wandering through a new neighborhood, hanging out in a cafe reading or writing, catching up with friends over brunch or dinner. Apparently everyone says brunch? Really though, I've had a serious biweekly brunch ritual with a good friend for years. (Brunch is quite serious, you know.) In another life I'd move to France and become a pastry chef or work as a journalist for NPR. We don't need to share all the same interests, even better if you could spark my enthusiasm for something that hasn't even crossed my mind. I do think the real thing just has to unfold naturally...
