I just joined this site, so please forgive the awkwardness :) I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "description".I am down-to-earth, caring and no-drama; I am adaptable, but I know what I want. I like travelling, learning new things, exploring different cultures, just anything new... Aahh I am afraid that's the most widely used "description" here !!! I am very curious (not around your mail and phone!), and, as they say, between two evils I try to pick the one I never tried before. I do not necessarily mean something sexual here.I try to take things as they go and not worry about small stuff. I am a good listener, sincere and believe that most of the time truth is better than a "white lie". Not into mind games.Speaking of games, I have to confess I am not a sports fan...I can tell hockey from baseball, but that's about the limit of my expertise here. I don't mind watching an occasional soccer match but would not like spending a weekend on the couch watching games... I believe this is what "guys' time" is for (among other things, of course). And I'll have my time shoe shopping and getting nails done while you are screeming at the tv. This way everybody's happy.I like outdoors and live a *** healthy life. If your idea of fun includes regular drug use or heavy drinking, we will probably not have too much in common.In dating, I am a bit old-fashioned - I expect a man to do the first step, and to treat me like a lady (or at least to make an attempt!***opening doors, making the first call etc. I am originally from Europe, so I grew up in different traditions and family values.I am looking for a man who is smart (not necessarily book-smart, just has an analytical mind), somewhat ambitious, and knows what he wants in life.     Some things that make me happy- My family. My job. Spending time with my friends. (especially on the nights when we dont have any real plans, and somehow have the best night ever). Vacations. Books that are so good, I can read them cover to cover in 24 hours. Summer saturdays, The farmers market in the morning, then the gym, and no other plans (beyond maybe some quality time spent poolside). Board games... I may be a little competitive...I live downtown, and feel like there is always something fun to do or see. Whether its a block party, concert or restaurant, I'm usually up for anything. I also really like entertaining. It doesn't matter if its an impromptu game night, or my annual holiday party, I love traditions and sharing them with others. What else...I have two sides, I can be a girlie-girl, but I am also a Miss Fix It with a tool chest and recently got a huge thrill from fixing my sink. I like getting dressed up and having a really great dinner with a nice glass of wine, but also love drinking beer, eating wings and watching the Ravens! Honestly I have found that you can spend a long time getting to "know someone" on a dating site and then you meet and you figure out pretty quickly if you are actually interested in them or not. Texting and *** generally my favorite forms of communication for that reason ( though I do plenty of both) I just prefer to meet for a coffee or drink, have a conversation and see what happens!
