I really hate this part. I read profiles and they seem great but when I read mine, they seem awkward lol. So here goes: I have been a nurse for 6 years and love it. I recently switched from working in a pediatricians office to being a school nurse. It was the last place I ever would have thought of working but has turned out to be a great change. I like being part of a team, of being respected in a way I never was in the doctors office. I am a family oriented person and enjoy spending as much times as I can with my niece and nephew (yes, they are the ones in the pics). I am also a firm believer in family consisting of those you are close with, regardless of blood relation. I can be shy at first but once I get to know someone, I am pretty outgoing. I am honest and loyal, at times to a fault. As far as what I do for fun, I'm pretty much up for anything. For staying in and cuddling up to watch a movie, to going out to dinner and a movie, a concert, downtown, ect. I am a pretty affectionate person and like the same in response. I don't mean we have to be all over each other all the time, but I do like hold hands and a kiss once in a while for no reason. I am no professional, but I do enjoy taking pics. I love coffee in the morning but wont even take a sip if it has too much milk. I once told a complete stranger he would definitely benefit from a hat. Some people interpret that as rude, but I say its unsolicited honesty. I have 2 drinks and totally feel the booze. I hate department stores and potatoes. I will spend oodles of money on a nice pair of shoes. I can entertain myself for hours. The only thing I do better than tell the truth is lie. It's hard to tell if I'm laughing or I'm crying. Often times, I do both at the same time. I can't dance but I maintain that the absence of rhythm in my step is a Jewish thing, not a character flaw. I think we jews were meant to dance the hora and not much else. In the winter, my fingernails are always purple. I love to wear ski hats. Food is wonderful unless its eggplant or the above mentioned potatoes. I will never understand why people text message *** call. I buy the Sunday paper every week just for the crossword puzzle and I refuse to let anyone help me complete it. My kittens make me smile and I think that Pepto Bismol is the most disgusting liquid ever created.As an aside, I would love to receive e-mails from all of you who are interested in getting to know me better, but please have something more original to say than "HI"
