About Me

1. Talk about your hobbies.2. Talk about your goals and aspirations. 3. Talk about yourself and what makes you unique.4. Talk about your taste in music.1. I like to draw, and have a good time persuing creative endeavours. Currently I'm having fun painting on ceramic..though would like to get involved with clay. I like to walk my little dog, and take her out quite often. I heard once that the best thing you can do is try to be the kind of person that your dog thinks you are. I try to follow that little tidbit, because really, why not? I like sushi to the point where I guess I'd call it a hobby. I'm clumsy with the chopsticks though..2. I'm currently in school working towards the first two years of my accounting degree at NBCC. Then -hopefully- So far I love accounting. It's weird, I just love learning how to do it and find it really enjoyable. I guess that's my four year goal. Goals further then that would include the things that most people work to have for themselves, a good home and a happy and fulfilling life. I'd like to live comfortably, have animals, go to art classes, and play money for travel. I'd like to see the studio ghibli animation museum in Japan..3. I don't know, I've been talking about myself this whole time. I'm not sure if I really am unique... I have qualities that I hope many people have, I wouldn't want them to be unique. I think I'm a very good hearted person, passionate, creative, caring. I like reading a lot, and especially things that bring self awareness to my life. I love that feeling of reading something, and in a vague way you already knew it... but just reading helped put those things into words. The prophet by Kahlil Gibran is my favorite book, for that very reason. I like reading graphic novels too though, and a slew of other things... I like comedy stuff, stand up specials can be pretty great... kids in the hall and mister show are hilarious. 4. Taste in music - *** , amongst other things. The part of my profile where it says I'm an occasional smoker is referring to sometimes when I'm having drinks with friends, I will bum a cigarette off of them. in the moment I find it enjoyable. In my regular daily life I do not smoke. Also I'm kind of shy in person, and not as verbose as this profile would make me seem. Take a good hit off the crack pipe?Failing that, I'm sure that between two people a good idea will come.

I'm simple yet complicated. I have a wide variety of interests which allow me to adapt to almost any situation. I'm looking for someone to create new memories with. Basic enough, right? I would consider my "type" to be cultured country. I definitely want someone that would saddle up and ride a horse with me once in a while (or at least keep me company at the barn) but that can also put on a suit to attend an event. I would prefer a man that is active because that opens up opportunities to do activities outdoors together; running, hiking, etc.I love animals but I am not the "crazy cat lady" type. I've been involved a lot, up until recently, with animal rescue- which basically involves taking unwanted, abused, or neglected animals from strays or in shelters and placing them in foster homes until they can get vetted and sent to a rescue group. I've been through some humbling experiences and even those that are heartbreaking. Luckily the good tends to outweigh the bad, but hopefully one day there won't be a need for this type of volunteering. Feel free to drop a msg to find out more. It is hard to convey just how awesome I am in a brief description. You will just have to find out for yourself. ;) This so depends on the person. I like to think that I'm not the typical dinner and a movie kind of gal but sometimes that is okay. I think going outside of the box at times is more appreciated- such as maybe relaxing by a campfire, going fishing, or cooking together at home. I'm easy to entertain.

Initially I am quiet until you get to know me but you'll find that I love to laugh and have a good time. I'm a fun, loving, smart and adventurous woman who loves to try new things(sort of an adrenaline junkie really). I love spending time with my friends going on road trips and listening to music. Being the baby of the family; my family is very important to me! I love to go to the beach and travel (I go down south every year!). I also like to go to the gym and be active I'm looking for a guy who is spontaneous and loves to laugh. Someone who's close to their family and likes to try new thingsI'm new to this and figured I would give it a try! I'm a simple girl who appreciates the little things. I enjoy going for coffee (or hot chocolate :D), drinks or dinner, chatting or taking a walk along the beach.

Just make it a good one, eh? I manage a pet supply store and am definitely an animal lover. I have a few pets of my own, and also worked in rescue for four years. I have been on this site before and have had some great conversations with some interesting people, and if that's all I can hope for this time around, as well, that's fine with me. I am not looking to get into a relationship with someone just for the sake of it, there has to be common interest.I'd like to point out straight away that I am an atheist, and cannot honestly see myself involved with a spiritual or religious person. I'll befriend anybody, but dating is different. I also don't go in for astrology, homeopathy (or most other forms of alternative medicine), reincarnation, ghosts, the afterlife, magic, god(s), or other things which rely on faith as opposed to (or in spite of) evidence. I value intelligence, honesty, humor, good conversation, a thirst for knowledge, a love of animals and a desire to learn and grow as a person. I enjoy being with my family and friends, though it would be a lie to say that I am a social butterfly. I have my close knit group and from time to time I meet someone who I connect with. I will always be honest and tell you if I don't think we're connecting and hope for the same from you. I also hope that we can be adults about it and not take it personally. And by we, I mean you ;-) I understand that not everyone is cut out to be friends with one another and will not be offended if you say that you don't think we're compatible. I only say this because I've had some people get upset and confrontational when I've said as much to them, and I've never been rude about it. I wouldn't appreciate my time being knowingly wasted and don't want to waste anyone elses, that's all.I love music.;I have some TV shows I really enjoy, though I watch most of them on DVD, as I am not a channel surfer.British panel shows are also wonderful. QI, 8 out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You?, Nevemind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week, Big Fat Quiz, etc. Such good fun.I'm also a huge fan of stand up comedy. As far as movies go, I don't go for a specific genre. Tarantino is one of my favourite directors. My favourite kinds of movies are good ones. The last movie I saw in the cinema was Kick Ass 2, and I try to go with friends at least once a month. I have a collection of close to ***movies, always growing. My favourites recently were The Great Gatsby, Cloud Atlas, Now You See Me and This Is The End. If you've actually made it to the end of this, I am impressed. As a reward, have some other random stuff I like (then say hello!):Lava lamps, Winter, Autumn, zombies, ThinkGeek, upcycled sweatercoats, handmade jewellery, murder mysteries, candy, Christmas, Halloween, funky socks, bright fingernails, weirdos, wolves, Super Mario Bros 3, SingStar, Plants vs...Have a good one :-) Texting and scones ;-)If you get it, you are awesome.
