Hello there – As the internet replaces the first hello from in person to in front of a monitor - Is a quandary on how to sbegin, when you're not there. Don't know what the new trend advisers say about this - so I've made it up and will see how it goes :-)My friends describe me as a high energy, confident, passionate, intelligent, and fun loving soul who enjoys new adventures and experiences (Though they generally don’t do that in one sentence) I’ve been blessed with success professionally and personally. Work in a field that I love and am quite passionate about, own my own home, and enjoy a close relationship with my children(young adults really) who are busy discovering their own life path. Please note, that though I love children, prefer someone who has adult children these days.Would be great to meet someone with a similar positive approach to life who finds the fun in most any experience and laughs easily(most important trait in my view), and just enjoys living....(more like tigger than eyore...). Like me you’d be fun to be with, intelligent and confident; a communicator; accomplished at both work and play; and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. You’d enjoy time with a partner, but are too engaged in your own passions to need someone to be with ***. Live theater is one of my favorite distractions and go whenever I get a chance. Travel is enjoyable to me any time the opportunity presents itself whether local or afar. Dedicate as much time as I can to outdoor activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, hiking or working out to support a longer healthier life. The glass is always half full to me - have fun whatever I'm doing and there is just so much to do! I am not perfect and not looking for someone perfect – just someone perfect for me. I am 52 yrs old. I have been divorced since Feb of ***. I am a Christian. I love Christian contemporary music, praise and worship music. That is what I listen to the most. I do like some country songs, as long as it's not about forbidden love, the dog running away or tears in beers.. I am raising my 10 yr old cousin and have been since he was just 3 yrs old. He has a few emotional issues, I also have my 3 yr old grand daughter for now. I love to read and to write also. If you look at my face, you will be able to see "bumps"on my face. This is from a disorder called Neurofibromatosis. Google it; easier than me trying to explain. It causes "bumps" on my face, called neurofibromas. I have them over good portion of my body. I'm not scary looking, nor am I ugly, but it causes some folks discomfort. Does not affect my "loving" at all.Again, I am a Christian and I am looking for a man who is a like mind. Church attendance is important to me. When I lost my husband, I lost my "pastor" also... Yep he was a pastor. For a short time, I was mad with God, but thanks to my mom's prayers and countless friends prayers, I have come to my senses and know that God has that special man that will love me and worship God with me.. He's out there.. I just gotta be still and listen for God's voice.... Man!! is it hard to just WAIT.... I hate waiting.. But God will hold true to His promise.. Find out what makes him smile, what he is passionate about. A beach date is NOT mandatory...anywhere the gentleman would like to take me, I'd be honored! Connie
