I think these summaries are a great way to weed out what your not looking for, rather than talk about yourself. So, here it goes..... I love animals and have a puppy, he takes up a ton of my time and probably will for the next 6 months until he's trained. I don't like the smell of ciggerettes and would prefer the person I date to not smoke. Also, I have a very open family, full of all different kinds of people, with that being said; you must be comfortable around gay people. Believe me, I'm not gay, but I do have very close people in my life who are and I will not tolerate homophobia. NOW, after all of that, I assure you, I'm a sweet girl who loves to have fun, cook, sing and dance, so lets go out and paint the town!!!!

I'm not really sure why, but it's really irritating to me when someone asks me an opening question of "what do you like to do for fun?"....um well if you read my profile, I have some interests listed. What does anyone do in their free time? I probably won't respond back to you/stop talking if you ask me that. My friends and family say I'm stubborn and I don't give in until I get what I want. I say I'm just motivated and driven. I tend to put things and people in my life that make me happy and get rid of what/those that don't. I work a lot, and I don't center my life around a man, so i'm not good with clingers. I'm a very busy girl, try to keep up! I like all kinds of music except for the creepy weird kinds lol. I'm easily entertained :) I don't deal with drama very well and I don't have time for it in my life. I hate the smell of popcorn and no, I don't eat it either. Oh, and i'm a gold digger by nature. J/K :) But seriously, i've worked really hard to get where i'm at in life. Please don't contact me if you don't have a job or have nothing at all to offer. For those of you who do have jobs, feel free to message me. I'm actually a really nice person and I'll reply back to most messages unless you're simply asking me to hook up. Atleast have 'some' class gentlemen... I'm up for anything, drinks and going for a walk or whatever. I don't like creepers or stalkers. not much else to say :) I don't have daddy issues so the old guys should just stay home.

I suppose it is time for a profile update. Since I first wrote my profile a lot has changed and I am most definitely in a different place in my life. To start, in the last seven months I have moved all over. I have been in Philly for a very short time and am still adjusting and finding my way around. I just started my Masters degree and am very excited about where this is going to take me. I still don't have a super clear vision of my end job but I feel like this is a good step. As for hobbies and other things that they say people on here would like to know, I like traveling and would like for that to be a constant part of my life. I also like world events, watching the news, football, gymnastics, camping, snowboarding, and am always open to new fun things! I enjoy curling up with a good book or movie and am not really a big party person. I am much more into a low key pub or wine bar over a club when I do go out, but I don't find drinking a necessity to have a good time. I have some of the best family and friends who I love very much and am super close to. I like to think I am an open book and I love to talk..about everything, which the people close to me like to give me crap for, but hey, how else are you supposed to communicate? I greatly enjoy conversation of taboo topics like religion, money, or family values along with all the small talk of sports, weather, school and everything else. I realize 95% of Americans hate politics and rarely want to even discuss it, but I would love for my man to at least listen to what is going on in our world... occasionally. I am not totally sure what I am looking for as far as a relationship right now and I feel like the options on here are limiting. I am not looking for a random hook up and I am not looking to marry the next person I have coffee with. I am realistic about online dating and really just want to meet some good people. If that turns into something great, if we become just friends, fantastic, if we never talk again, that's okay too and it wasn't meant to be. I figure I should give you a heads up of what I am looking for in a man. To start, in general I expect men to have an opinion and response. I love intelligent men and would prefer someone with an education who values intellect as much as I do.I like company and want someone to spend my time with, but space and independence are important as well. I am looking for someone who is ambitious, educated, active, caring and confident or is willing to develop these with me by your side.I am a born and raised Washingtonian and love everything about the Northwest and am a bit sad to have had to leave it for a while. I am super laid back and low maintenance and love men who share those qualities to. I love being active and doing fun things, preferably with someone, and am honestly just trying to get back into going to the gym or finding some other physical activity that I actually enjoy, as a retired gymnasts it is hard to find something equivalent. I am a true homebody though, and love staying home and just relaxing. My ideal first date would involve meeting at a neutral location like a coffee shop or cool brewery where we could have some initial conversation and get to know each other. After that I would love to do something active-it doesn't really matter what it is, but something like mini golf. Some sort of activity that is fun and relaxing and gives you something to do but also allows for a chance to really meet someone and learn if your compatible. Following this, assuming everything is going well, a nice, but not too fancy dinner to finish the evening. :)
