Genuine, caring man seeks soul mate.I separated from my wife around 18 months ago after 16 years of marriage and am ready to start again. Day by day they are becoming more and more independent and have a better social life than i do! Therefore please bear in mind that as much as i may like to i can't just jump into the car and meet up on dates. Unless you want to hear small voices say "i'm bored","are we there yet?" and "who's that?" :-) So I have to make sure that i have child care cover. Most parents should realise this anyway. Someone localish would be great but if there is a special person out there who lives further afield i'll put more petrol in the car :-)So without boring my audience too much, a little bit about me.....I'm house trained, can cook, iron, clean (sometimes), and generally have a positive outlook on life. I am fairly fit as one of my pastimes is fell walking but don't really get chance to do any other types of exercise.I also enjoy reading and watching films. Not a soap fan so if there are any Eastenders/Corrie fanatics out there then i'll leave the room and play Mafia Wars on ***'s on :-)Will listen to and enjoy most types of music but my favourite type is rock.Well that's me and for anyone who has got this far without falling asleep.........you need bigger matchsticks :-)Oh and finally not sure why meetville thinks i'm interested in Russian women by putting an advert on my inbox page -.... :) We can agree the first date together - somewhere public with nice coffee :-)

Hello,You are reading about the man voted best catch this year...(In my house). If you like bungee jumping, surfing, skiing, snowboarding and other extreme activities then I'm not for you! I like sport (watching football, tennis, boxing), music (watching and listening, favourites range from The Beatles, The Smiths/Morrissey, Oasis, The Jam/Weller, New Order, Madchester, Ska, Indie, Punk/New Wave to Motown.)...Went to see johnny Marr, Echo & The Bunnymen & I am honest, easy-going,open-minded, thoughtful, loyal,affectionate & low-maintainence and capable of keeping myself occupied...& ideally would like to meet a lady with the same characteristics.I Believe a couple should keep their old friends and interests and not be smothering, it works both ways i think, I am tactile but not a clinger, everyone needs a bit of me time. I have never married or have children, this has been my own choice, to be honest i've always lived for myself but now i feel i would like to meet someone & if all goes well settle down...its time at last!...I'm ready and I have got a lot to give...It should go without saying but I am not on here to waste my time or yours just in case anyone mistakes me for a player! Anyone looking for a decent genuine single guy? A little about me... I am very much into motorcycling (road bikes and offroad), music (all sorts, especially anything new) so am a bit of a radio addict and like gigs too. I enjoy keeping fit, gym, swimming & cycling, and making and fixing things (a creative streak somewhere). I'm not really into watching tv, though like a good film, and really enjoy going out, love the outdoors, and I take part in bike events at regional and sometimes national level. I like to travel too, especially to anywhere hot. I'm generally thoughtful, quite civilised and pretty easy going, with a nicely irreverent way of looking at the world.
