I am the genuine good guy with a huge heart. I am a kind caring man that knows how to be a gentleman and treat a lady with the respect she deserves. I am a hopeless romantic that believes in true love. There is a fairytale for all of us; you just have to not be afraid to shoot for the stars. As the country song goes, “I want crazy, not just good or good enough.” I have lived my life to this point always putting all others first. I am starting a new chapter in life with my youngest son having graduated high school. Part of this new chapter will be to do exactly what I want to do and if there is someone out there that wants the same things, I will find her. I don’t want the status quo; I don’t want to stand in line. Life is too short to wait for things to happen - because life is happening every day. I’m always up for an adventure, I am eager to try new things, experience new places, and want to continue to see the world. I grew up in the country and now live in a white collar world. For me there has to be room for both, not one or the other. So boots and jeans one weekend with a little country dancing, sport coat and tie the next. I love the game of baseball which to me is like playing chess – I’ve coached the game for 18 years, plan to continue it some capacity. Being from the country, I enjoy the outdoors and appreciate seeing nature untouched. As far as the dating thing goes, I’m just looking to date and let things take on their natural course. When the right one comes along, we will both know, so don’t let the “just dating” title fool you, it’s truly all about how things go. I’m looking for that person to enjoy all that life has to bring…. That is the ideal match, one that wants to share in each other’s dreams. They would be intelligent, yet silly - confident but not overbearing. Part of my dreams is to see as much of the world I can, so being adventures is a must, able to go to a beach and relax or climb a mountain trail. So if you see the fit, let’s start the fairy tale.     Greeting and thanks for checking out my profile!I am not the kind of guy who is comfortable going on and on trying to sell myself, I am just not that way and take it for what it is worth, but...Here are some things about me in no particular order:- I have all of my teeth (wisdom teeth being the exception) and only one tattoo- I have a JOB that I have been doing for 18 years and am secure in it- I have more than one working vehicle- I can carry on a conversation on a wide variety of topics- I am a Food Network junky and have the skills in the kitchen to prove it- I have been woking very hard to improve myself this last year and have dropped 120lbs so far and am pushing for more- I run/hike or exercise ***times a week as part of the above point and would love a workout partner-Have a goal of bein able to complete a Tough Mudder by the end of this summer. - I love the outdoors and a variety of hobbies associated with it- I can be a bit Redneck at times, but have plenty of city in me too- I have several hobbies where I make/create/fabricate things with my hands- I wear shorts regardless of the weather- I love road trips and exploring new places & cultures- I can be a total geek sometimes- I am a guy and have many of the failings that come with that- I treat people the way I would like to be treated- I try to prove that chivalry is not deadIf you are at all intrigued at all drop me a line and we can see where things go from there...
