Looking for: woman. In age: 36-46
I am looking for someone who is honest, grounded and down to earth, and enjoys all the aspects of being in a relationship. Someone who gives 100% and deserves it in return. Optimism is a great quality to have as well. I'm looking for the one I can't stop thinking about. I like keeping things fun, sending surprises, flowers, edible arrangements, notes, things to make my partner smile. I like to laugh and make others laugh. I am independent. I don't live with mommy and daddy, I bought my house when I was 22 years old. I have a car "that runs." You get the point don't you? I mean what I say and say what I mean. I always do what I say I'm going to do, very dependable. Open to single moms because there are a ton of them out there and I do mean a ton. I ask that you put forth an effort as I will also. We are all here for the same reasons. We all want to love and be loved. As we date, we should have fun, be positive, and always respectable. If there is no spark or we have a bad date, we should not get discouraged. We should keep going forward and realize this is an opportunity to learn about ourselves as a person.A friend told me a true story. He travelled to Africa for his work. He said while he was there he noticed the locals had elephants tied to small stakes that were driven into the ground. He asked why the elephants didn't just pull the stakes up and break the ropes to free themselves. The local told him when the elephants are infants, they are chained to a tree with a heavy chain. The infant tries to get free but can't break the chain. Exhaustingly day after day the elephant tries to get free but can't. As time passes, the chain is replaced with a lighter smaller chain. The elephant tries less and less to get free. Eventually the elephant gives up and no longer tries to get free. This is why as an adult, the elephant can be restrained with a small stake and light rope. He could easily pull the stake up and be free but doesn't try because he has given up. The point is no matter what life throws at you, don't be like the elephant. NEVER GIVE UP. I liked this story so much because it inspres thinking. Like how many things are there that one could have already accomplished had they had no self doubt, had they not thought twice because of something they read or something someone said to them. I've heard one is sometimes one failure away from accomplishment. Sometimes you just have to try one more time. The first meeting, I don't like to label it a date, should be very simple. Maybe stop for some frozen yogurt or grab a couple happy meals and go to a park. Yes I'll push you on the swings if you want me too. We can go for steaks on the second date.
