About Me

I’m not sure why I am doing this again, I must be crazy. I really don’t think that anyone on this site is really looking for a long term relationship, but I am hoping that there will be one that will prove me wrong. What is the saying, prepare for the worst but hope for the best? That pretty much sums up my attitude on the whole meetville experience. And please, please, please, look like your pictures. I really don’t care what you looked like 10 years ago; I want to know what you look like now. I know guys have this same complaint about women posting old pictures, but you can be assured, all my pictures were taken within the past 2 months. We’re not doing anyone a favor by posting old pictures and then when you show up to meet, there is *** right off the bat if you look nothing like what we thought going in.With that being said, I am not a super-model by any stretch of the imagination, I am just your average girl next door type. I think I am a genuinely good person and I am looking for a guy that knows how to treat a lady and is ready to give up this site and not always looking for the next best thing. Ok, I think my rant is over and if you haven’t run screaming from my profile by now thinking I’m a complete wacko, let’s move on to some fun facts about me.1. I love to watch football, specifically the NY Jets (not something I’m proud of, but it is what it is and I’m loyal to the end) I would love nothing more than to spend my Sunday’s (and Monday nights, if possible) watching football with that someone special.2. I really enjoy singing in the car at the top of my lungs.3. I’m extremely ticklish, especially my feet, touch them and you may get kicked in the face (you’ve been warned)4. My favorite color is purple5. I love meatloaf6. If I’m having a bad day, listening to music relaxes me7. I sometimes dance like a fool in my kitchen when no ones watching.8. I recently had my first pedicure. It didn’t go well (see #3 above). I was assured it wouldn’t tickle, they lied.9. I was born and raised in IL10. My favorite flowers are peach roses (love the way they smell).11. My best friend is my dog. I wish humans were capable of such loyalty and unconditional love.12. I sometimes serenade my dog. I don’t sing very well, but I think he likes it. 13. I don’t like scary movies unless I’m with my significant other and can hide my face in his chest during the icky gory parts.14. I’m not afraid of PDA and if I like you, I will want to touch you, a lot. I enjoy holding hands, hugging, and kissing.15. I enjoy getting random texts throughout the day that you are thinking about me. It makes me smile :o)16. Summer is my favorite season and winter is my least favorite.17. I really love roller coasters and have gotten season passes to Great Adventure the past few years. I would love to have a roller coaster buddy, but if you’re not into them, you can always hold my stuff while I ride :o)Well, that’s about all I can think of right now. If I haven’t scared you off or totally bored you to death with my fun facts and you want to know more, just ask. A first date doesn't have to be anything extravagant. One of my best first dates was just meeting in a park and walking around for a few hours taking and getting to know each other. Even though the guy didn't work out, it was still a great first date.

    So many profiles, so much of the same mumbo jumbo. Yes. I want to find that one great guy who loves me and we live happily ever after. . . Someday. Hey, if he walked through the door tomorrow I'd greet him with open arms but until then I hope to find someone to share life with, experience new things, create memories. If something permanent develops that great. If not at least we have enjoyed our time together. No, I'm not looking for a hook up or a purely physical relationship. Sit and watch a movie together snuggled on the sofa on a rainy Saturday. Take a weekend trip to St. Give and take is essential in a relationship. They have to come first and anyone I date would have to welcome that fact. I'm a good mom but I'm also a woman who wants to experience life and share it with someone. I can be both. I've been described as a soccer mom by some. At first I took that as a negative but have decided it's not. Soccer moms can be fun too. While my kids never played soccer I was always there for them and their activities and I'm proud of that fact. Its my turn now. Honesty is important to me. I will tell you what I'm thinking and expect the same. Life is too short to hide your feelings or play games. Just tell it like it is. Please don't contact me if all you are interested in is hooking up. I'm tired of thinking a guy really likes me and realizing that's the case.
