Let's try this again :)One of the most important things to me is that the person I'm with needs to have goals and is motivated to achieve these goals. I just finished school so i feel that now is a good time to meet someone. I still stay pretty busy with work and I also have a five year old daughter who is absolutely amazing and my number 1. She's a cool little chick :) In the past year or so, I've learned more about myself than I have in the first 30 years. I've learned to be comfortable being who I am and those who are true will stick by you. I've learned that you cannot control someone else's behavior but we are the only ones who can control our own. I am a big believer in Karma and I'm not gonna lie...I enjoy sitting back and allowing karma to bite the well deserved in the a$$ lol.I want someone I can laugh with and forget why we even started laughing in the first place! One of my biggest mistakes is beginning a relationship with a lack of communication...several times. Very rarely do I meet someone who I cannot find some kind of connection with but it's happened once or twice. I am looking for someone who I am completely comfortable with and able to share anything with...I am looking for my best friend.I am attracted to wittiness! Anyone can be sarcastic but being witty is a sign of intelligence. I can be quite blunt but I do have a filter. I'm motivated...I don't like to sit and complain about my problems...instead I try to fix them. We have more control of our lives than most may think.I like to smile/laugh. Who doesn't?!? I love rollercoasters, comedy shows, and the arcade (mad bball skills and I will beat you).I do not expect a fairy tale.     Lets see... Well, I'm a hopeless romantic for sure. I am defiantly at one with my inner nerd. I want to watch movies with someone who actually doesn't mind subtitles. Oh, yeah...and cuddle on the couch. Molto importante. I'm a lover, not a fighter. I had enough fighting and yelling in the military. It's far too draining. I've traveled and lived all over the world. I'd like someone to share more adventures with. I'm in the process of attaining my masters degree in Musicology as well as a PhD. I aspire to teach at the university level when I finish my schooling. Family is very important to me. I love kids and I would love to have a family of my own one day. Espresso = happiness in a cup. I am sarcastic, witty, and find extreme pleasure in satiric humor. If you can make me laugh, we're golden. The only thing worse than a person without a sense of humor, is a person without a sense of grammar. The murder of the English tongue is my main pet peeve. Since I'm a hopeless romantic, I'd be adpt to go to a nice quiet restaurant. Enjoy wonderful food and beverages together and just talk. After dinner, take a nice evening stroll together along the thoroughfare or around a lake. We may conveniently stumble upon some live music or a quaint cafe. Lots of talking and hopefully sharing of laughter and smiles. If she has kids, I'd love to meet them right off the bat if possible.
