I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to meet someone and have a real long lasting substantial relationship. I feel like I have a lot to offer the right person...its just finding the right person that's the hard part! In saying that...I dont mean that I'm looking to jump into something really serious right away. That takes time. But I'm definately not looking for just a fling. I have a 10 year old son, so I am looking for someone that doesn't mind dating a girl that has kids. If you know what song these lyrics are from, then we'll get along :)" Yeah, she knows the man I ain't,She forgives me when I can't,"Here's some quotes I like: "Destiny is not a matter of chance, its a matter of choice. It's not a thing to be waited for, it's a thing to be achieved.""Fate is real..but it only takes you so far, because once you're there it's up to you to make it happen." We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

I love to laugh and have new experiences. I may not be the best at everything but I believe in trying most everything once; and making every attempt a fun experience. I am currently finishing my BA in Marketing. My children (ages 5 and 7) are my blessings and bring me joy daily, along with a little touch of insanity to keep it interesting. I love working hard and living life to the absolute fullest. Above all I want to teach them that the world is a big place with many opportunities and not to get bogged down by small town drama. We love going to the local parks and to Bernheim when the opportunity arises. I have never been skiing, but I am hoping to remedy that this winter. I'm sure I'll become my own personal snow plow due to my lack or controlled coordination. I would eventually like to learn how to flip upside down. :) I tend to have a sacrastic witty sense of humor. Some jokes land ... and some are duds.Being the daughter of a military man I was taught to shoot and clean guns at an early age. I am still not as skilled as I would like to be, but I enjoy time at the range. Shooting is a way to relax and focus. Sometimes I go to Knob Creek and shoot, but I would rather shoot at a friends farm or low key site. The amount of people at Knob Creek sometimes makes me tense. My son is shooting bow and arrow. I haven't picked up this sport yet, but have greatly enjoyed his success. I like to push my fear level and challenge myself to try new things. As much as I love adventure, I also love a good book or movie. The only problem with good books is that I normally read cover to cover. There have been moments where I've looked at the clock and realized that while the book was fantastic, I will only get an hour or two of sleep before the next day begins. This is probably one of my worst habits. I blame the writers. There's nothing better than a lazy rainy day with a good book, cup of tea and snugly blankets. My love of books is similar to my love of music. Blues is probably one of my favorite forms, but I typically enjoy most types. My brother makes sure I listen to my monthly rations of heavy metal, public radio 90. I love music. It helps to change my inner-state. Describe my ideal match...? Someone who isn't afraid to be honest. Someone that is patient and kind with a generous spirit. Someone that would be my friend and encourage me to live to my fullest potential. Being a single mom with a full time job and school as a side gig, I need someone that can be flexible with their time and understand when things don't go as planned. After all half of life's adventure are the unplanned journeys.
