Hi!!! I'm Lisa. *****just FYI, I am taking a break from this online dating as I don't seem to really like it and I need a break for a bit - but I didn't want to totally close off. I would be down for a week-long backpacking trip; but I also like to get dressed up and go dance downtown once in a while with my girlfriends.Sometimes, all I wanna do is curl up and watch sportscenter - except I really can't stand tv nowadays it kind of drives me nuts. I cant believe people let TV shows run their schedule. Except.... I let the Lakers run mine- that's the only exception!!! I'm a beach bum, a nature dork (I know all the plants and birds!), a hiker, reggae and house music lover, beer snob, affectionate, cuddle monster, wanna-be surfer, light sleeper, artist, NPR fanatic, gym rat, outdoorsy-girl, environmentalist, go-getter, sarcastic, down-to-earth, brown belt in Shotokan, and an interpretive park ranger.I can pretty much hang with any situation. Like if you took me dirt biking, I most likely would keep up. I cook really healthy at home and stick to eating clean; but I also enjoy being spoiled by a nice dinner out too or a happy hour here and there.I am a thoughtful and very caring person, and i hope you are too. Sometimes I can be tard, but we can laugh together at myself and keep smiling! I would like you to be a positive person too so we can lift each other up and keep the big picture in perspective when we are feeling otherwise. I'm pretty tired of guys that think they can get away with not having their sh*t together just because they're hot (and sorry to say vice versa! There just has to be chemistry ok?!)     Hi and welcome to my profile. I might be one of the only people who likes writing these so check back every once in a while and I’ll have something new to say :) I'm not new to this site but I have been away for quite some time. I have a lot to say and I’m not sure where to start, so here’s a general idea of me in no particular order of importance.My typical day starts before 6 am, I hit the gym in a zombie state of mind, go to work for 7:30ish, work with great people, have clients who say they like to see me (and I don’t pay them to say that), I work overtime more often than 13 year old me would have thought would be ok, and I go home to walk my dog, see friends and have a drink in the back or on a patio. Life’s good; what I intended : )Ummm, I’m not like the others in that (this is a tough part to qualify so help me out if any of this seems misplaced)... I like most kinds of music, but when I’m driving it usually rock and blues. When I go out to the local watering hole, the server asks if I would like my Guinness. My friends usually catch me in my jeans or even pjs and they are always surprised when they see me dressed up for work – I guess the contrast is sharp. I like to garden – I have the sexiest bouganvilleas growing out back – Love them!’ed almost every square inch of my house and it’s been a ride. I live in the burbs and it was an adjustment but I’m over downtown and I’ve never been one for clubs or being at the center of the hub bub. There’s nothing perfect about me and I’m happy with that : )If the above didn’t scare you off, then you’re already cool. I’m looking for someone who is at a similar place in life. Self sufficient, social, self-aware and kind. I have a lot of family and friends and I mix people – they are all golden so it’s always a blast; I want someone who is comfortable with that.
