So I've heard there's lots of fish in the sea...sooooooo many you can't see the fish for the sea! OMG...for reeeeel...be patient with me, I'm a bit overwhelmed at times!!! Thank you for so many sweet comments etc but please read below and try to understand If I don't reply its because I'm looking for a specific type of man...I would like to see myself as someone who is not superficial, artificial, or commercial. I believe in God, I'd be nowhere without HIM, but don't have membership to any one church. I really think most people need to walk the talk. My current mission: English teacher working with juveniles and young adults to help them get their GEDs-not a job for the faint of heart! I decided to join the military at the tender age of 19 yo , cooking for airbourne rangers for two years and didn't have to pay a dime for my school. I hope to spend more time up north in the future because I miss home!! I'm thinking my future husband will probably live up north, but can't control fate.Something unique about me?... I only have antenna tv because I prefer to read a book or do something outside over being a couch potato. I once owned several rental properties which I luckily sold before the market crashed. I enjoy a night out occasionally because I love to dance. I've been on one cruise, a casino cruise, and I was sea sick the entire time! I would enjoy an art show, seeing a play, laughing at a comedy club, or listening to some jazz being played live at a winery, but I also like poetry readings, independent films, and a quiet chess game occasionally. I would like to meet someone who has an artistic side and is able to express themselves well( but that doesn't mean talking for hours on the phone about your ex drama pleeeeeease!) Some of the jobs I've had include fit model, radio news announcer, and editor of a small newspaper. I write a little poetry, been published here and there, but haven't really tried; I like reading short stories lately, trying my hand at that genre too.My goals? ...;On the Road" But, I'd love to explore more of the west coast and spend a summer in Europe someday. I am a licensed real estate agent but currently inactive...maybe when the market gets better? I would also like to become a certified yoga teacher someday. Nature walks put me at peace. If I was a millionaire, I'd run an artist community and combine all of my interests, but I don't play the lottery or gamble so I'll keep dreaming!I am divorced ***after 15 years to one man and have little to no baggage to claim - never had kids so no shared custody, debt free, no health issues or med dependency, no ex drama here, and no domineering in laws to deal with! Seeking someone who is not tied down to family or finances...needless to say I'm willing to be patient to meet the right guy. And though I'm unconventional and drive a motorcycle, I really don't feel like the woman should make the first move...it spoils the romance.ps. my heading is a symbol from my favorite movie, The Great Gatsby.pps. first off i don't usualy go to these sites looking for a friend that might be more.. I dont know what to say. I am just now trying to get them on the market. going slow, don't know what and where to sell them at. I wil learn.
