*You should probably read my entire profile before you contact me because I don't want to waste your time and I don't want you to waste mine.*I’m a fairly laid back easy going girl. My absolute favorite quality in a guy is humor. I would say I’m a pretty funny, sarcastic and witty person and I admire that trait in others. I’ve always been drawn to the funny guy in the crowd. Sometimes I get weird looks but I would say about 99.9% of my patients love me because I have the ability to put them at ease at a very anxious time of their lives. I’m a labor and delivery nurse and I LOVE what I do. I think it’s awesome that I get to play a role in bringing new life into this world. I've been a travel nurse for the past 2 years. I worked in CO for 6 months last year and fell in love with the place. So, I'm very recently back in an effort to make it a permanent home. I love to travel. I know it seems like everyone puts that in their profile, but I really do. I’ There are a million more places I hope to see in my lifetime. I would say I’m a pretty fearless person unless there’s a clown involved and then you can count me out. I'm a sucker for dogs/puppies. Def one of the worst things to ever happen to me. Once I settle down a little more I plan on getting another dog. I love kids and most definitely want a few of my own one day. I love roller coasters, Chick-Fil-A lemonade, the Dire Straits, scary movies, Game of Thrones, my front porch swing, the beach and an occasional poker game. Honestly I've been trying this online dating for a while now. What I can say is that it definitely doesn't work out they way they portray it to on the tv commercials :) Its really hard to trust that people are on here for the right reasons, and I've learned first hand that anyone can act like a good person and then turn out to be an ***hole. With that being said I might be a tad bit bitter, but hey at least I'm still on here trying right? I don’t exactly know what to put for what I would want my perfect match to be because apparently up to this point what I thought I wanted hasn’t worked. I’m a firm believer that a person’s soul mate also needs to be their best friend. I'm not good at playing games at all. No, I don't want to meet and hook up with you and no I'm not looking for someone to be "friends with benefits with" so there is no point in contacting me with that purpose. I'm looking for someone honest. I'm not looking to jump into something serious right off the bat but I also think its pointless to date someone at my age without the possibility of seeing it go somewhere. If you don't have the time or don't want to put in the effort to get to know someone you probably are also wasting my time because it takes spending time and getting to know someone to truly see if you are compatible. With that being said if you were brought up with good morals, like to laugh and have a good time and are old enough to know what dating someone truly means then we just might get along. I am a full time single parent who works on "party days" -- weekends. My world pretty much revolves around my little one, so it's tough to get into the dating scene hence why I'm trying this. I'm a dreamer, hopeless romantic, and wanna-be athlete who is always questioning things around me and what makes things how they are. I am outgoing, always trying to look on the positive side of life, and laid back. I like to be crafty, do art projects, attend art-type events, listen to audio books (ok, I'm totally sounding like a nerd here... ), and play outdoors when the weather allows. I aspire to return to the large corporate world of Ecommerce marketing if possible, or create some of my many inventions/business ideas and travel (a gal can dream right?!). I love cooking, laughing with friends, a great cup of coffee, my TV shows, my parents, and meeting new people. I'm assuming this is asking what I'd do on a first date (it's a bit vague) ... I think a first date needs to be something unique. Like ice skating then drinks at a warm coffee house/bar or a beginners sporting activity like batting cages and burgers after. Of course, I'm 100% beyond ok with dinner and drinks as long as the company and conversation is great. A smaller local town venue is best as I try to support local business when I can - and it makes things more intimate for getting to know each other.
