Hi!When it comes to filling in this section, I am supposed to talk about who I am and what I am looking for in a potential partner. So here we go....). I have been very blessed to take the path I have in life and I am thankful for it everyday.I am a huge sports person. My idea of a perfect day is watching back to back football games on TV. Which usually ended in them trying to see who could hurt me more when they tackled me haha. I also played Volleyball and Basketball throughout high school and I even played Basketball in college a little bit. I decided to stop playing when I solely wanted to focus on my schooling.Personally, I believe people should be happy on their own before pursuing relationships with other people, and that is exactly why I am on this site. I feel like I am at that point in my life where a relationship is just another point of happiness for me in my already blessed life. :) I have finally found a career that I love (after changing career paths a few years back) and now am looking for someone to laugh and have fun with.What am I looking for in a guy? The first would be honesty. The next would be goals and ambitions. Some people read this and think something completely opposite to what I mean. I am NOT looking for a rich man, Im not a gold digger, I just push myself to be a better person everyday and want to be with someone who does the same....a guy where we can go to a bar on a Saturday or Sunday and cheer on our favorite sports team while drinking a beer or two. I love sports, so if you are athletic also, that is great! I am silly and love having a good time and want to find a guy who can laugh at himself and be sarcastic as well. Some people say I am very quick witted and I am looking for the guy who can banter right back. But at the same time, I am also looking for the guy who can sit and talk intellectually or is open about their feelings. I do like to get dressed up but also love cuddling up with my sweatpants and t-shirt and am looking for the guy who likes a natural woman, and not someone who always is done up with make up on. I am relatively new to Calgary, and LOVE it here! I love my family and friends and miss them very much, but I'm working on building new relationships here. Those people would describe me as smart, independent, easy going, caring, strong, funny (I can come up with some pretty good one-liners every once and a while) and am not afraid to laugh at myself if I do something stupid. I have a red neck and am not ashamed to admit it! I'm not what you would call a girly girl, I know how to use power tools but I can also put on a dress when required.I love sports, and going to live sporting events. I love to play baseball, I'm relatively new to golf (I'm not great but getting better!) I'm looking forward to getting into hiking and camping this summer, I also hear there are lots of paths and trails to explore in the city. In the winter I snowboard and ice skate, which is amazing because there are so many outdoor rinks in the city! I'm looking for someone I could get to know and builds a relationship with. Someone who has strong family values, who also likes to do things outdoors but doesn't mind staying in sometimes. Someone who has a good sence of humor and can take a joke. Someone who can cook would be a plus - im learning, and getting better but still have a ways to go. I'm more into the pub atmosphere but like to go to Ranchmans on the odd occasion.
