About Me

I am new to the area. I could tell you how I am searching for a best friend, with whom I can find mutual acceptance and companionship, but you read that in every profile.I can say that I tend to be intellectual, have a rather well-defined value system, and an open-minded way of looking at the world. I am not very traditional. I enjoy the freedom that my career affords me, and I use my free-time to pursue all of my creative interests.I work from home in organic food marketing. I prefer a slower-paced country setting for my life, which is what attracted me to the lakes region. I feel that it is healthier to have a definitive work vs. relaxation balance. My father passed away at a relatively young age from cancer this past spring, and those sort of experiences have a tendency to shift perspective. We only get one life, and it's here and now. I have a somewhat unusable degree in literature from a liberal arts college, and a big dream of writing a novel one day.The partner I am seeking is not exactly like me, but he is complementary. I think that two people can be together while allowing each other space to grow and evolve into the best versions of themselves. Acceptance and honest communication are the two most important relationship elements. Something low-pressure. You get to know someone first, then you get creative.

    Let's see....I have tried this online thing quite a bit, and I must say....most people are not who they claim to be. I would love to meet people who are themselves, can be honest (including feelings), have a good sense of humor and some morals is always a plus :) I am a pretty awesome and complex lady so I can't sum myself up on here. I love nature and all things that go with it, huge fan of photography and art. I am in love with music and the many moods it can create and memories it brings back.
