Do you enjoy intelligent and humorous conversation? Do you have a positive attitude and value improving yourself and the world you live in? Are you enticed by both random adventures and quiet nights at home? Do you appreciate proper spelling and sentence structure enough to actually use it? (If so, we should probably hang out...). I've got the friends, the home, the rewarding career; now I'm admitting I might like a partner in crime (so to speak). For now, I'm just looking to meet some new people and am open to seeing what happens.My true passions are the sciences, social justice, and self-improvement. I love learning new things and working on bettering myself and the world.Most of my bucket list involves travelling and helping others, as that is when I feel most alive. I love the exhilaration of exploring new cities and experiencing new cultures, the lessons you learn along the way, and even the longing for that piece of your heart you leave behind after you go. I'm looking for someone that is passionate, open, and honest; someone with aspirations for themselves and for the world. I believe there is fun and beauty to be found in the everyday if you open yourself up to it. And I believe that with the right person, you can have fun doing anything (or nothing) at all. I'm looking for that person that makes the everyday feel extraordinary, just by being in it; we both bring out the best in each other and aren't afraid to challenge each other to dream bigger and strive farther. “Set your life on fire. But when we get to that point, I've got all sorts of ideas, depending on what you're into. -On a more traditional note, perhaps supper and catching a show (concert, comedy, play, slam poetry etc.). - -How about grabbing a hot beverage, wandering our beautiful campus,and checking out the Museum of Antiquities? (as well as other exhibits if you haven't been on campus much)-I think it would be pretty cool to do a drop in art class or learn-to *** class being held. I'm always up for trying new things and I think that how someone handles the vulnerability of learning a new skill can tell a lot about them.

    I'm an easy going and relaxed person with a good, slightly twisted sense of humour, I love to laugh. I read voraciously, enjoy board games, camp fires, hiking and camping (roughing it, not campsites). I enjoy pretty much anything on, in or near the water, a side effect of growing up on a lake. I am prone to random acts of singing or dancing when I'm hanging out at home in my pj's simply because the mood has struck and hey, why not, no one is there to witness my complete and utter lack of proficiency at either. This summer I rediscovered my love of volley ball, trust me, I'm not that good, I have aim issues apparently, but I love it, as I do with a few other sports, such as Frisbee (if there is a car anywhere near by, I will find it and I will hit it with laser like precision). The score of the game isn't important to me, I just want to get out, move, laugh and have fun. As a side note, I have always wanted to learn to play tennis, I have the court if you're patient and up for teaching. I also volunteer with kids regularly and love every second of it, who doesn't love the chance to act like a kid for an hour or two each week, I hear its good for you too, a wonderful side bonus. Really, I enjoy most things and am almost always up for a new adventure. I love my job which can be demanding at times, which basically translates to, during the summer and fall I can be called in at the last minute to do a small task or repair or I can be told, again at the last minute, that I am need to help out for a few extra hours, there by losing my evening off. I have learned to live with this because I honestly do love my job and I'm good at what I do. If we meet, understanding this is a must, I don't cancel or reschedule because I'm blowing you off or just don't want to see you, I just have a responsibility to take care of and I genuinely am disappointed that I have to put off what we have planned. I'm just looking to meet someone and see where it goes. I'd like to find someone who is up for trying different things on occasion. I am by nature a planner and would like to meet someone with a streak of spontaneity to them, I've found it makes for nice balance and fun. Maybe even someone I can talk into taking a dance class with me, (don't worry, I won't tell anyone or complain if you step on my toes, but that one has to go both ways).Ultimately I want a partner in life, based on mutual respect, honesty, understand and passion. I can't stand lies and games, just be up front and honest with me, whether its something I want to hear or not at least I can still respect you that way. I have a good and full life that I enjoy very much, I'm just looking for someone to share it with.

    My goals have shifted a bit in the last little while, I always thought owning my own hair studio was my future dream but it turns out im meant to help people. Just starting school again after 10 years to achieve my goal of becoming a RN.
