Let’s just cut through the bs. Honestly, do we really base much on what is written in these or more upon the photos? My vote is on the photos. Most of you probably won’t read beyond the first few sentences of this and that’s ok because you cannot possibly get to know me from anything I write on here. I’ve been driving the same car for over 13 years, she will likely be retired after this winter. I believe that shows my loyalty or strong reluctance to have a car payment. I'm a tomboy at heart but, I can be very girly at times. I have learned to enjoy naps. I’m a very good cook and feel at home in a kitchen. When I’m thinking, nervous or tired I play with my hair. I paint. It’s how I meditate. I’m very sensitive to other’s feelings. I recognize things that others sometimes don’t. I love the water and want to live near, on or in it. I like a lot of affection and to know that I’m wanted. I’m very sarcastic. If I pick on you it’s because I like you. I would live barefoot if I could, preferably on sand. I don’t like the holidays. The greed, rushing around and loss of meaning makes me ill to think about. I’ve always wanted to be a dancer. I have 2 tattoos and I want many more. So, that’s a bunch of useless information about me that makes up part of my character. Now, onto the good stuff…values, principles and desires.I hate lying. It’s toxic like a virus. Lies multiply and they tear apart relationships. I believe in helping those less fortunate. My work involves helping children with disabilities both physical and neurological. So, I am greatly bothered by prejudices toward those who are afflicted in any way. I am not religious but, I do have many spiritual beliefs and I strongly believe in karma. I’m not looking for someone perfect, just someone who’s honest and done playing games. I want sparks. I want to be intrigued, challenged even. I have very strong convictions and I don’t generally budge on them but I don’t get angry and I don’t like to argue, unless there’s something really good in the makeup process. I would like to be with someone who I can have discussions with about things that actually matter. There’s much more to life than the small bubbles we live in and I would like to find a man who realizes that also. I don't fantasize that I can change the world but, I do believe that we each have the ability to leave our mark in some way. I think that too often we hang on to things long after they are done because we are creatures of habit. Im just an easy going gal looking for an easy going guy to hang out with and see what happens. I currently work in the accounting department at an auto dealership. I have learned over the past few years that the business world is not for me. I was created to do more than sit behind a desk and type all day long! So I am currently working on getting certified to teach. I'm working on a general studies certification for grades ***but I think I want to teach middle school math or science. I find it hard to write about myself but I am good with coming up with random things so here is a list of things about me :)- I am far from high maintenance. - I wear flip flops all the time. Rain, sleet, snow, or hail they are on my feet. I do own closed toed shoes but I'm not a fan.- I love to mow the yard. There is something about the nice lines the mower makes. It makes me happy.- I love God and I work on my relationship with him everyday. I go to church on a regular basis- With that being said I enjoy a wide variety of music.- I'm over weight and I'm working on it- I'm not the worlds best speller and I never had a good English teacher so my grammar is not always great when I write. - I live alone and am capable of taking care of myself.- My parents are a big part of my life. They maybe crazy hippies but I love them.- I love to cook. Recipes are nice but I like to use them as suggestions and tweek them to make them my own.- My favorite moves are Love Actually, The Other Sister, and Pretty Woman. If you haven't seen those I would suggest that you do!- I love to travel but don't get to do a lot of it. One day I would like to go to Australia and dive in the Great Barrier Reef. As for what I am looking for in a guy is someone who is honest and can treat me with respect. I want someone who is willing to get to know me and who doesn't just want to get in my pants. Hello! Ok, a little about me... In west Philidelphia, I was born and raised. On a playgrounds where I spent most of my da- I just wanted to make myself sound exotic. :/I guess I would describe myself as kinda nerdy. I have a marked interest in sci-fi and fantasy television. I'm a reader, as in I constantly have a book or two that I'm reading. I even read the back of the cereal box.I have a slight addiction to movies. I'll watch just about anything. I'm looking for someone I can be myself around. Nerd and all. If it's just as a friend or if it developes into to something more, so be it. I'm pretty easy going and open minded. (However: I am not so open minded when it comes to married guys. I'm sorry. I never learned how to share my toys, either.) Also, I'm way more apt to respond to messages with punctuation.
