tall but scrawny fine arts student specializing in illustration, and a comic book writer and artist. It came under attack by an alien spaceship. I am then found by Charles Xavier, who erases the crowd's memories. Xavier then asks Me to join the X-Men, and he gladly accepts, as the first official member.
