Hello and welcome! As you might notice from some of my photos, I spend much of my free time outdoors, being in/on/by the water and camping (with all the accoutrements my SUV can hold). I'm definitely an outdoorsy, girlie girl.I also enjoy getting lost in the hilarity at comedy clubs, catching a flick on the big screen, going to ball games (I LOVE the junk food), live music on a patio somewhere, hiking, biking, kayaking (need to learn, actually), fairs/festivals and traveling, of course. Finding new/interesting places to spend the day/weekend is always a blast. Even though I do occasionally smoke, I would never do it around anyone it offends. It is a take it or leave it thing for me, but I wanted to be honest about it. I'm still trying to decide where it is I want to plant my roots, but for now I am spending some time with family who lives here. Honesty, intelligence, great communication skills and a varied sense of humor are the "usuals", and top o' my list. I am also attracted to people who are not the PC or GQ type. I love individuals who stray a bit from the norm and who are thoughtful, open and upfront, slightly adventurous, playful/silly, gentlemanly...I would like to find someone who enjoys being active (not hardcore), but who is also content to spend a rainy day inside watching movies together. Or, going out to play in it!I'm not looking to jump into something serious right away or too fast. I like to take things as they come naturally.I'm all for making the first move, just so you know, but I'm rarely on here searching profiles. I sympathize with the men who do make the first move and don't get any kind of response back. I am looking for Mr Perfect For Me. I am NOT looking for Mr Perfect. We all have flaws- okay admit it- you have some flaws!!! I have many- yes- I am publicly admitting that I have LOTS of flaws. Some I am more than willing to change- some flaws I know about and just don't care;-)My philosophy is if you have a flaw, you should own that flaw. I mean really - why do something half hearted. I have several really obvious flaws...I like to eat. There I said- I am not a salad grazing girl!!! There won't be any dainty "oh I can't possibly eat that" coming from me! Rather-stay out of my way or you may lose a finger;-) That said, I am not some huge fat lady- I like my time at the gym too! I prefer to call myself "fluffy and happy". If you are looking for a stick thin person- keep looking;-)I am ****. I mean it. No joking aside- I am a real ****. I don't see this as a bad thing. I stand up for myself and those around me. If you are looking for a pushover- you are looking in the wrong place. I love the signs that say "you say **** like it is a bad thing". I will not psychotic or anything- I just know my own worth and I am vocal about it. I am the first person my friends and family come to when they are having a problem. I will stand my ground (or their ground) until the right thing is done. I expect the same out of my spouse. I like holiday decorations. Oh who are we kidding - I LOVE holiday decorations. I spend hours- maybe even days putting them out throughout the year. I particularly like Halloween and Christmas. I think you can probably see my house from space at Christmas;-)I have an 8 yr old daughter that is my world. I have ***custody with my ex-husband. When I have her I do NOT hire babysitters. If I can't give her my full attention 50% of the time - then something is wrong. I work full-time, own my house, share time with my daughter and have 2 VERY bad dogs- this all makes for a very busy life. I want someone who can actively share this with me. I am not looking to date someone for years(really??? It just doesn't take years to figure out if it will work), nor am I looking for a once a week good time. It is a deal-breaker for me to have one more child. I won't be talked out of it- really I won't. Well if you are still reading this and want to go out GREAT!!!How about dinner-somewhere quiet where we can actually talk. Or shopping/window shopping- you can learn ALOT about a person this way;-)If the weather is nice -;-)Anything but a noisy bar would be a great time.
