A little about myself. I was born and raised in Germany - and yes, I still have a slight accent I have 2 beautiful grown children that are very close to me although they both live away from home, and are on their own.My youngest just graduated from College and moved to MN - my oldest is married and lives in AZ. I am an energetic, active, sarcastic, loving-life girl. Summer is my favorite season, around water makes me happy. The only good thing about winter in KS is sitting with someone special in front of a roaring fire. I seldom have the TV on, but make exceptions for collegiate basketball and football and professional football. I am open to new activities, pushing the limit-except of course, jumping out of a completely operational airplane, or tied to a bungee cord and jumping off solid ground.I have a love/hate relationship with running. Often I dread getting started, but the sense of accomplishment when I am finished out-weighs the dread. At one time would only consider the treadmill when it was too cold/hot to run outside, but I admit, I have become a "treadmill whore" of late, pounding the darn thing ***times a week. A couch potato, I am not. The grass does not grow under my feet.I am very active would rather be at the park, at a festival, or just walking around the neighborhood after work, rather than sitting around getting old. They are my strength. My youngest one is following her calling to serve others. My oldest one, her mother's keeper: guiding me, scolding me, praising me, loving me. These girls make me proud.I have re-discovered myself since turning 50, and I LIKE it. This stage of our lives has so much to offer and the time and resources to do them.This is proving to be the best time of my life; the glass ALWAYS half-full, not half-empty. Age is about spirit and soul, not a number. If you are looking for a fixer upper, that's not me. I don't need fixed.If you like your women a little crazy, not me.
