I'm not very complicated. Pretty much what you see is what you get. My friends will tell you I do not have a filter...if I'm thinking it I'm saying it! I love to laugh and I have an incredibly sarcastic sense of humor! My family and true friends are carried in my heart every day and mean the world to me. I love to spend a day out on the lake fishing and can filet just about anything. I'm a ridiculously good cook. My Mom and Grandma didn't raise no slacker, lol. I'm a Midwestern girl transplanted in the South, but my roots are still back home! I'm an incurable romantic. It's not about the gifts money can buy, it's about the kind words and special gestures. I hope to meet someone with common interests looking to head down the same paths. I do not want to lead, I have no desire to follow, I just want my best friend, to walk by my side through life!

I work a lot of hours and dont have time for games. Im not really sure what Im looking for but I do know sitting home alone every night is getting old. I do go out some but much rather stay home with a good book, a bubble bath and a glass of wine.

New & updated profile. Despite the new headline, I am not a huge U2 fan. But it explained why I'm here. I am not meeting single & available men in my usual circles so I thought this site might introduce me to some new people. I am a Christian. My faith is important to me. But I'm not perfect. I don't pretend to be. I enjoy a glass of wine or a margarita. Because they are tasty! Very rarely will I drink for more than a mild buzz. I use curse words. Because sometimes "shut the front door" just doesn't get the job done. I started a new job over the summer that has me working most Sunday mornings, so I haven't been able to go to church in a while. I enjoy watching sports. Love to root on my Braves & UGA bulldogs. I usually couldn't care less for NFL but like to keeps tabs on the Falcons to see how they are doing. I still play church league co-ed softball. And once upon a time I played basketball in school. Volleyball is fun to play too. I enjoy cooking. I don't do well following recipes though. They are great suggestions. I just seem to always deviate away in some small fashion to suit my tastes. Cooking is a time to play & try new things. My music tastes vary depending on my mood. The usual suspects would be country, rock, some pop & some Christian worship. Still love 90's music, especially alternative. But sometimes something with a blues or jazz feel to it captures me. More times that not, metal & rap are more noise than music to me. But any given song on any given day can be what strikes my fancy. I'm looking for a guy who is honest, faithful, responsible & respectful. Who knows how to make me laugh but still has a serious side. Who is looking forward to being a husband & father. Who wants to cuddle on the couch with me to watch a movie or a ballgame. Who will take me out to dinner, to concerts or even on a day trip to the beach. Whose idea of a good time is more like a bonfire with friends than a night out clubbing. If I message you, something caught my attention & I am interested in chatting to see if there is any connection. If you're not interested, please just let me know. I'm old fashioned. I am looking for a connection. A real relationship. If you are looking for casual sex or a one night stand, I'm not your girl. I think a first date should be something casual, comfortable & public. Something that encourages communication. Coffee. Dinner. Dessert. or a Drink. Keep it simple. If it goes well, then maybe extend the time with a walk.
