About Me

I must say it is utterly strange to write about myself, but since I'm here, I might as well make it count.I am a kind person of great goals who sees success as a multi-dimensional thing other than just financial success, as one can be rich and detest their job/partner/life (therefore no real success). I was asked to talk about goals here and I think with goals come success: financially, emotionally and in depth of thought.I am not sure of what makes me unique, haven't met every female on the planet yet (kidding). I think I can be witty, funny (I laugh at myself often), well-read, I have a lot of energy and tend to think I am good at channeling it into something productive or semi-productive.I have a broad taste in music, food and movies and don't seem to have a favourite anything. At least I can say not yet. Being very active and feeding my body with what's best for me nutritionally is part of my being, not just looks, as both food and exercise can affect my life greatly. I think there's a big difference between doing things for appearance and doing things simply because it's a basic need, like breathing and bathing. I enjoy Crossfit and yoga.Strangely enough, I am somewhat of a kamikaze foodie whom enjoys a good meal at a hole-in-a-wall type of place or that Sunday brunch Angus burger at Bonefish grill. Go figure?Life is a hobby I cherish and I do not sweat the small stuff. I am generally happy and positive so I tend to enjoy the company of like-minded people. I'm not very fond of Johnny Rainclouds (people that walk around with a dark cloud hanging over their heads). I find self-absorption to be a trait of highly insecure people... a lot of energy is spent in managing their image and what people would think of them, therefore forgetting to really see others, be in the moment. I'm not judging, just intending to establishing that I would not get along with those types.Sometimes there's just no chemistry. Just as I don't expect everyone to like me, I reserve the right of not enjoying everyone's company.On that note, I know what qualities I have to offer (I'm warm, passionate, caring and adventurous) and I am also aware of what qualities I look for on a partner. Not a checklist thing, I just have a good notion of what would work for me. Although I am an independent individual (I was the only one in my mum's womb when I was there), I like a man who knows his role in making a woman feel safe, secure, loved and cared for. I cannot even stand emasculating scenarios on TV.Oh, very important: please do not *** monosyllabic *** "hey", "hi" , etc). I tend to think those pages are empty... As I don't appreciate rudeness, I would like you to know that I make sure to reply to the *** receive even when a little delayed. You took the time to write, I take the time to reply.Thank goodness that hasn't happened yet.     Hello... Here is the start of a long story short. I moved to Vegas about 13 years ago. It was a pretty big accomplishment at that time in my life, because not many people actually get up and leave from their comfort zone and were they grew up, at least where I came from. I am very much a realist, some people say that realist are negative people, I am far from negative, but I do state the truth and tell it how it is or how "I" think it is.I do like to be right, but who doesn't? I also am the first to admit if I am wrong (depending on the topic) lol. :) I am not a political or religious person what so ever. But I do not judge people for believing in whatever they believe in, and I expect the same. I am a animal lover, but defiantly more a dog lover then anything. I have two, a chocolate lab and a pit. Both show me more loyalty and love then I have found here in Vegas from any human. lol, no I really am not the crazy dog lady..... but I defend my ****es faithfully, just as they do for me.... I also am a pretty decent sports girl, mostly football (GO PACK) and basketball. AND I LOVE FANTASY FOOTBALL, probably a little too much, it makes me very competitive. I love all music, but whats on my presets are country, rock, classic rock, and modern day. I listen to mostly rap or old school rap at the gym. as long as I can understand the lyrics then I will probably like it. If I can not understand the lyrics, then I probably don't like that kind of music, for exampled, heavy, heavy metal... such as slayer or any of that crap. That does not include Metallica or Pantara, cause I can handle that kind of heavy metal. I do work out, and like hiking and outdoor things. My favorite places, which I call my Happy places are going to the lake or being on the back of a bike (Harley or a chill bike) not a street bike, I like to be comfortable while i'm riding. I am looking for someone to enjoy the rest of life with, not just making new friends, I have plenty of those already. But if that is what happens after I meet some one new, than that's cool, but I really am looking for someone to be happy with. I do not have kids, but I love kids, and for some reason they love me too, every kid I have meet ends up being my new buddy. So guys with kids do not scare me at all...     So I'm a little old school..I love music. the right music can inspire and move you...So you want to know a lil bit about me..Hmmm..I am extremely allergic to drama..Every morning I wake up and put on OneRepublic's Feel Again..How can you not dance to that song..it's such a great happy song...I put chia seeds on anything they will stick to... I work in the legal field and I am also a personal trainer. I know what I want out of life and I am not willing to settle. I am very active, I love the outdoors. I LOVE animals. I have a 15 year old son and 3 dogs and I love them all! I love the beach and would like to take part in more activities there. I just don't get there as much as I like. For some reason I like to spell the word "definately" with an "a". :P but for the sake of not being judged on my spelling, I will correct it. :) I have a sense of humor, I'm sarcastic and I laugh at myself sometimes..I have to remind myself not to be so serious at times. I am a thinker, and as much as I try to fight it, I am a fighter. When I come across something I am passionate about I will move mountains. I don't even have to know you to help you move your mountain. I am drawn to people who have strong values and principles. I prefer quality over quantity.I am on this website because friends have become transient over the years. You would think it would be easy to meet people when your in the middle of millions of them but not so much. I don't hang out in bars and I am very particular about who I am friends with. I'm interested to see who I meet on here. I have met a few really great people here, who are still a part of my life, so I still hope there are more out there.
