About Me

My version of summer camp involves waking early and making strong coffee w/ foamed milk, then heading back to bed to sit and drink it, while watching the surf, and deciding when it is best to get wet today. I never miss a deadline and I do like working in a wet bathing suit! I love learning new things, currently studying Italiano - che bello!I am pretty much obsessed with fresh local food, love to prepare it and savor it, from an aesthetic sense, a savory sense, and a very healthy sense. A beach walk, or swim, and foraging for that food structures my day-- I schedule my fun, then work around it!.. I look for ways to serve everyday, my family, my clients, my community - it is my nature to do so. I love books, movies and art, with long conversations about them, and why we respond the way we do- interests me. Sports, travel music, are important aspects of my life. I am always 'in training' for something, even if only to lift the 50# bag of dog food! ! I have lots of energy, like challenging myself and growing from new experiences - doesn't everyone? LOL I do like SUP, it scares the heck out of me, yet I want to push at my comfort zone in most aspects of my life - keeps life exciting! a beach walk is good, or meeting for coffee. Love to hike and be introduced to new places of the islands - all of them.
