I'm a genuine, caring down to earth guy with a good sense of humor who likes to make people laugh, I,m quite independent but I do like to spend time with friends and family, and do things like go to the cinema, to restaurants, live music and gigs etc. I shaved my head for charity, as I lost my dad to cancer, so I thought I would keep it this way although I think that sometimes it gives off the wrong impression about me, and I get judged on the way I look before they get to know the real me, but that's their loss not mine, that said, I do have a habit of saying the wrong thing or putting my foot in it also :-)I like watching loads of films including a lot of world cinema and horror films and anything by Guillermo Del Toro. I love music, its a passion of mine, Indie/alternative/electronic/rock, and going to gigs and live music events. Coffee is my one big weakness but Starbucks are so nice! Ok, here we go. I’ve been single for a while and kind of over due to meet someone nice so hope she’s on here somewhere.I’ve recently moved to Basingstoke and I’m enjoying being here. It’s made getting to work very easy and that’s given me more "me time" which I love.I’m well travelled and will use any excuse to jump on a plane. It’s easier to say where I haven’t been rather than writing a list of where I have but here’s a shortlist of where I’ Through my travels I’ve been lucky to make some great fiends. Next trip should be skiing around Feb time.I like to keep busy and I’m up for doing most things as I enjoy new experiences, provided it looks like fun. I also try to keep some free time so that I can catch up with friends or do anything spontaneous which could involve a weekend in the Lakes or the coast or get the bike out for the country roads.Personality wise, I'm pretty chilled and relaxed, try not to let much phase me and I prefer to take things in my stride, although I can be focused enough when I have a plan.Matt Keep It Simple sounds like a good idea for the first date, so probably a drink. Any future dates would have to be more active, maybe wakeboarding, shooting or 4x4 driving.
