Hmmmm - what can I say to describe myself in a nutshell? I teach 2nd grade - and most days I really do love my job, despite it's many challenges. I tend to work a lot of hours, but there isn't anyone in my life right now to spend those extra hours with, and it keeps me busy - when the right person comes along, the hours I work can and will take a hit. When not working on things for school, I enjoy a variety of other things...scrapbooking, reading, movies, playing on the computer, spending time with my family and friends, working on projects around my house, and traveling when I can... If I had to pick one word that describes me, I think I would have to choose sarcastic, as I use a lot of sarcasm. I listen to a little of everything as far as music - with a few of my favorites being Jeremy Camp, Sugarland, Matchbox 20, Tim McGraw, a little Eminem, and many others. A few of my favorite shows are The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Alias, Smallville, The Voice, Golden Girls, and Lost!- can't wait for the new season to start in the fall. I love hockey, and am a big fan of the homestate team - go Red Wings - although as long as they're not playing the Wings, I cheer for the Caps too. I have 2 cats, and am irrationally afraid of snakes. I know I have left tons out - anything you want to know, just ask! :)What am I looking for? Someone who has their "stuff" together is high on the list. A sense of humor is a must. Someone who can carry on a conversation - whether it be witty banter or something serious - if I feel like I am driving the conversation alone, I will probably lose interest quickly. Someone who enjoys some (not all) of the same things I do, and lastly who wants me for me, flaws and all. I am not looking for a one night stand or a "hook-up", so if that's all you're looking for, keep looking. I think what we do on a first date is not incredibly important as long as we have good conversation and laughter. While I love the movies, they don't always make a great first date as you can't spend time talking. Usually dinner, or drinks, is a nice place to start.

If I am being honest, I am not entirely sure what It is I'm looking for. I want to meet people and just talk right now. I am learning to be comfortable with being single. It can be hard getting me to watch non horror things lol. I have 4 cats, 1 dog, fish, a ***, and madagascar hissing cockroaches. I love animals. My pets are my life and I consider my cats and dog my children. Meliodas, my emotional support animal, is an American Eskimo who is super friendly and playful and loves people. A hobby of mine is keeping tarantulas, though, I don't currently have any. Hoping that changes soon. I am VERY into reptiles of all kinds. Arachnids, amphibians....basically if it crawls or skitters, I'm interested. Right now, I am out of work, but trying to find something I am able to do considering I have some disabilities. I have worked retail since I was 17, sometimes 2 jobs at a time. It has taken a toll on my body. I have fibromyalgia and this makes getting around difficult most days. I do what I can when I can. I have hit a rough patch, but am working on getting out of that and back on my feet. When it comes to music, I prefer rock or metal. I will listen to a large range of things though...from SOME oldies to country even. Some rap is ok, but most of it gives me a headache. I enjoy classical music and I love the violin. I love looking up survival stuff, and would love to act on some of the things i've learned. I thoroughly enjoy camping, but have never gone in a tent. I bought a tent and some supplies and would like to try that out in the future. Fishing is super relaxing for me and I enjoy it whether I catch anything or not. Going out and catching turtles, snakes, etc is also something I enjoy...im a nature freak lol. I also have a sense of humor....sometimes a sick or dark sense of humor..I understand being offended by some things, but people who are literally offended by every little thing annoy the hell out of me. I cuss a lot and like to joke around. If things like Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss (youtube) offend you, then we probably won't get along. When it comes to religion, I'm more of a spiritual person. I believe there are many gods. I follow more of a Wiccan path. Things of that nature interest me and I am always up to learning more about it. For the most part, I just do my own thing. I love supernatural things. I am always watching youtube videos about the paranormal or cryptids. I am a believer in the paranormal to a point, and I do believe there are things out there that hide themselves well. One of my favorite things to look up are Wendigos and Skinwalkers. ( I know I'm weird...and I like it that way!)
