Having said all that, I think the most important things in a relationship are the values we share, our ability to communicate with each other and our willingness to compromise if or when we don't agree and a respect for our needs for privacy. And after all is said and done, I'd love to meet someone who is kind, romantic, has some smarts, and is healthy with a healthy sense of humor and who lives within 50 miles of Portland.
