I guess I would say I am honest, easy going, friendly, kind, and caring. I love watching the sun set on the desert mountains from the view I have from my deck. It's even better when enjoyed with a good glass of wine after a long day. I also love music (country, classic rock, some pop hits, and some smooth jazz.) I enjoy concerts, dancing, Zumba, reading and traveling. I have two wonderful grown children (a son who is almost 24 and a daughter who is 22.) I am a teacher and love my job! I also feel blessed to have many friends and really enjoy my time with them. I hope to continue to grow as a person (and spiritually) through this new phase in my life and become the person I was always meant to be. Hi there dating world! I am a 51 year young woman and mom. I say young because my life started all over about 5 years ago and I feel that I have the opportunity to do over those awkward dating years of younger, in a much better way! I am a mother of 4 with only the two youngest still at home, and one being 19 is close. Looking forward to not having to parent every day, but also know it will be sad when it comes. I have been a full-time student for the past 5 years and I will be graduating with a Master's degree next May. I think sometimes doing something that is more of an adventure on a first date, opposed to sitting at a table and eating, is less awkward and a better way to get to know someone. Maybe a hike? Or, a ride on a roller-coaster??

A former singer /performer, I'm lucky enough to have gone back to singing after many years off the stage while I worked in corporate event planning. Really enjoying my time singing as music is my true passion.While living in Vegas for so many years, I've had some wonderful experiences and fun stories! It's always fun to discuss the "Old Vegas" back in the day.....I spend time performing for senior homes when I'm able. I enjoy giving back to the people who have taught us all so much as well as giving back to the community. As things aren't as busy as they've been in past years, I'm able to finally think about a social life! Love blues & jazz too and could listen to Diane Krall, Lou Rawls or BB King all night long!All in all...I'm fun & "drama free!!"Here's wishing you "Happy Fishing" Sometimes it's easier to go out for a drink or Happy Hour on the first date. If things work out, a nice second date would be dinner followed by dancing or going to hear a live band.....
