So I'm an engineering professional who has a pretty hectic life due to working in the Automotive and Motorsport industries. As a result of this I try to make the most of my personal time. I try to make time to see my friends and family and, as you can probably guess, I'm a fairly typical bloke in that cars are one of my main pastimes. Invariably, the rare nights out with my friends degenerate into extreme displays of sarcasm, piss-taking, dancing like your dad and occasional cringe-worthy antics (who mentioned making Angels in flowerbeds?!?). I like most films, but draw the line at chick-flicks and horror, tending to prefer something with a mind-bending twist at the end, or those with very intricate plots which make you think. Although a good action-thriller is always welcome too. I swim a bit and have been known to strut around the dance floor when the time is right. Personally, I think my moves are legendary, however, it may be that on the other side of the beer-goggles I don't quite pull off the John Travolta routine as well as I hope.Given the chance I enjoy travelling, hence the work contracts I take on which take me across Europe.). I'm just as much a fan of hitting the piste as I am the beach, but am also willing to just grab a rucksack and jump on the first plane/train/banana-boat to anywhere. I also tend to look at all holidays and trips as a culinary adventure, which may go some way to explaining how I ended up accidentally ordering snails in Spain one time....I enjoy cooking, but not for just one person. Its always better when there is someone else to do the washing up.I'm looking for stimulating conversation and witty banter, someone who's active, has goals in life and knows what they want. Someone with a good sense of humour and the ability to be serious when the time requires it, but also capable of making a complete tit of themselves when its most inappropriate. Hopefully, someone who has a broad taste in music, literature, croquet, film, stamp collecting, theatre, medicinal science, skydiving, Crufts, ballet and bog-snorkelling. Oh hold on, that might be being a tad picky. *** ballet bit, and maybe the Crufts bit too. Actually forget that whole last line, apart from music.I don't gamble or get involved in anything dodgy. I'm interested in just dating initially, but if it leads to something more long term then happy-days. If you can't write a message using proper grammar I'm not interested, so if you use text-speak you shouldn't waste your time contacting me. Harsh maybe, but I'm looking for someone who isn't ashamed to admit they had an education. Oh, and try to come up with something more imaginative than "Hi", or "Howdy".......put some effort in people! So lets get all cliche here eh? Coffee or a cheeky tipple somewhere typically chic and rustic perhaps? Or maybe some sort of tapas bar.....mmmm tapas, yeah that sounds like a good idea. Maybe if the weather is good some kind of alfresco dining (but without mosquitoes, because they're bloody annoying)? Perhaps some live music for a good old knees up dancing-type affair?!
