About Me
I value my time alone, but I'm definitely a people person. I meet and deal with people for the first time every day in my job in advertising, so meeting new people has never been an intimidating process to me. I love to dance, write about sports, cook Italian and listen to jazz with dinner along with scented candles. That would be an ideal dinner date at home. That's not every night of the week. LOL! I've completely renovated my condo and I take pride in how it looks now...a ***percent improvement. It reflects my personality and carries my signature.I'm creative, imaginitive and passionate about many things...sports, music, Italian food, the printed word, and oh yes, love and relationships, of course! I'm seeking some of these same qualities in a woman, and I value passion and imagination above how much you know, how much you make, or how far you went in school. I want good conversation, laughter, good food and wine, an appreciation for art and culture and a zest for life. If you're looking to move fast and get a ring on your finger in six months, happy hunting! I do not move quickly. I want to savor life and to move at a pace where we can get to know each other. Then, we'll see where things take us. One thing I can promise you--I will never run out of ideas or things to do or see! My dream is to write a book about baseball and how the game shapes our lives and our language. I also love the theatre, especially live Broadway productions. Footloose, 42nd Street, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Camelot...I love them all!! My favorite movie of all time has to be 'Field of Dreams.' Not only is it a baseball story, it is a story about fathers and sons. The Jackie Robinson Story was excellent as well. 'Jaws' 1 is one I always liked for its script. I can recite most of the lines from memory! I have fun with that one! I love listening to jazz and music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. It's not a deal breaker, but if I could meet someone who can move her feet on the dance floor, that would be a plus. Jazz favorites include Diana Krall, Boney James, Mindy Abair, Richard Elliott, Sade and more! But still love dance music too! Contrary to popular belief, I don't have a 'John Travolta' suit hanging in my closet. But I once wore striped bell bottoms and platform shoes to go with my big hair! My hair isn't as big now, but I still have a lot!The past is just that...the past. I'm ready to move on and find someone where we can have quality in our time together...not 'hooking up' a one-night stand, or an audition to become husband #2. So, if you are interested, let me know. I live alone and do not have children, though I love kids. Waiting and seeking that sultry woman with an appreciation for life, a sensual mind and a loving heart.
