About Me

It is not easy to describe what I am looking for. Basically a friend, possible soul mate, who likes to do the same things that I do and hopefully has similar values and beliefs. I love anything outdoors especially near or involving the water: kayaking, swimming, boating. My greatest passion is walking on the beach. I walk 4 miles ***days a week to keep in shape. The other outdoor activities that I enjoy are hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, casual biking and exploring.I love going to art museums, the theater and to art walks that take place in all the neighborhoods of Seattle. I enjoy movies at the theater or at home and I like to read and discuss books (fiction). I also like to listen to jazz, classical and relaxation music. I grew up in Seattle and moved to Massachusetts where I lived for 36 years. I moved back to be near my extended family and I am so glad to be back "home". I have been enjoying reacquainting myself with the Seattle area and all it has to offer and I am looking for someone to share that with. I like dogs, cats and kids (I have two sons and three grandchildren) so if you have any that is great. I am a sensitive, caring, honest, compassionate and loyal person and would like you to be the same. My faith in God is important to me and hope you have similar beliefs. I have so much to offer and just want someone who will appreciate and share life with me. I would like to start out as friends and see where it would take us. Eventually I would like a long term monogamous relationship.I believe in giving back to the community. I volunteer at a homeless shelter and I am also on the Board of Directors there. Being involved there gives me great joy. In the summer I volunteer as a Beach Naturalist with the Seattle Aquarium educating the public on sea life, beach etiquette, and how they can help keep our waterways clean. I also volunteer as a Cedar River Naturalist in the fall educating the public on salmon and their journey back to spawn.I am ready to start the next chapter in my life. Could that chapter begin with you?A walk on the beach or meeting at a coffee shop.
